Awesome trip, great people. This tour had the best tour guide we had during our stay. All American employees.

This was a great tour, very well organised. Our guide did a great job of keeping us safe and well. He had an exceptional memory for names and was very well informed and friendly. I would recommend this biking tour to anyone visiting Paris.

The tour guide was wonderful; he was very patient and helpful. And he gave a lot of info about the site. The site was beautiful, and the food at the market was great.

A bike tour is the best way to see everything at Versailles, especially the spectacular gardens. Loved the picnic by the Grand Canal. Our guide was fun and had lots of interesting info to make history come alive. Just a perfect way to end a week of touring in Paris!

Our guide was excellent. He provided us with enough historical background of the various King Louis to help us understand the role Versailles played in French history. We took our 3 children 7, 9 and 11 who coped really well with the cycling. Loved every moment of it.

I just returned from France and discovered that one of my favorite outings was the Bike Tour of Versailles. It is a wonderful and peaceful way to see the gardens and unwind from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Your guide will take you to the Versailles Marketplace to buy your lunch items, and believe me, the items such as the cheese, bread, sweet confections, fruits, and wines will not disappoint. I believe I had the best croissant and cheese ever from this beautiful marketplace. The fruits are as sweet and gorgeous as honey. The only drawback of this tour is that you will only visit the main Versailles palace, but riding through the gardens and having a nice picnic lunch on the grounds far outweighs any traditional tour that puts you on a bus. You will meet travelers from around the world, have great food and wine, share laughs, and have a day that you will never forget! So forget the bus and hop on a bike, it's the only way to truly see Paris and you'll have great stories to share and wonderful memories.

I loved this tour! It was the best way to see Versailles and get some exercise without realizing it! I loved our guide too, he was the best and most informed guide. For only being in Paris for six weeks, he knew a lot about the subject. Highly recommended!

The bicycle trip to Versailles was definitely the highlight of our France trip. My husband and I had been to Paris previously, but this was our first trip to Versailles, and it was well worth the time. We met up with the tour operator close to the Eiffel Tower and actually rode our bikes to the train station. Once we arrived at our destination, we were able to go to a wonderful market and buy delicious goodies for our picnic. Our tour guide was just marvelous! He was knowledgeable regarding the history of Versailles, had such a warm and amiable personality, and kept us interested and engaged the entire day. The grounds at Versailles were simply breathtaking. To be able to bike around and enjoy the juicy tidbits of history provided by the guide was so entertaining. On top of all of that, after a fun morning of riding, we toured the exquisite grand interior of the palace. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants more than just a standard group tour. This is a memorable adventure!

I booked this tour based on the reviews that it got, almost all gave it 4 stars. And I'd have to say they were 100 percent accurate! This was the only tour we went on and it was definitely the highlight of the trip! I really appreciated the little tips that everyone provided so that we knew what we were to expect. This is really the only way to see Versailles! Our tour guide was super nice, very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a couple of kids on our tour maybe 9-12 yr olds, they did great. But this may not be the best for kids any younger than that dealing with traffic, the train, and riding in a pack. The bikes seem big and clumsy at first, but comfortable to ride in the variety of conditions road, trail, cobblestone. And take a back pack for lunch, water and extra clothes. Have a great time!
