Our guide at Versailles was wonderful. The private rooms and skipping lines was well worth the extra money. Kevin our first guide was good too. Very funny but hard to understand his.english sometimes. Overall an awesome experience.
An amazing place. Very opulent. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The opera house was wonderful and the gardens and fountains beautiful.
Totally worth the time and money. The guide was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the history involved.
Straight to the front of a 400 person queue at 9 am ! Behind the scenes ,detailed and charming guide including a drama free trip to and from V , just brilliant !!
This was an excellent tour. Bypassing the lines was just the cherry on top.
This was well worth the money. The only improvement would be allowing more time at the end of the formal tour to wander the gardens. It was so cool to go into parts of the palace that the general public is not allowed. Best part of the tour by far for me was getting to go into the chapel. It was totally awesome too that there were only 8 people in our tour.
First class! Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Good guides and access to parts of the palace not open to the public. Well organised and quite correctly described as a VIP experience!
Great handling of the crowd to get us through the tour. Our guide at Versailles was fantastically French; he knew so much about the palace and French history in general.
Excellent. Well worth the money. Did the morning tour and missed most of the crowds. Our tour quide on the bus was great as was bus driver and the woman who gave us the inside tour of Versailles was excellent.
Fantastic experience, amazing! Wonderful commentary by Kevin coupled with smooth driving of Fatima. Dominics oratory of the Castle breathtaking and captivating. Would book through this service again!!
This was expensive but every euro was justified. We were fortunate at Versailles to get the services of an extremely well informed, entertaining and instructive Palace archivist whose use of English was excellent and whose ownership of a master set of keys took our select group of eight to parts of the Chateau well away from those experienced by the average queuing tourists. And being a Saturday we got the additional benefit of the musical fountains in the gardens.
We managed to get a table for an early lunch at the excellent Italian terrace restaurant before the horrendous queues developed - given the popularity of this eatery it would have been useful to have the option of a table reservation made with the tour or through our courier on the day
Very pleased with the guided tour, going into areas not open to the 'public', impressive chapel and beautiful opera house with a good guide. Comfortable bus and journey. Suggest introducing a one night package including an opera in the Palace, hotel night and a gourmet meal.
