Great tour. The best way to see these interesting places, we had a short time in the city and the tour was the best way to get the most out of our stay.

Excellent tour with knowledgeable and friendly guide. You will see pointsplaces of interest that you probably would miss if you did a "do it yourself" version.

The itinerary was fairly comprehensive and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Seeing the historical sites gave us a good overview of which sites we wanted to return to for a more thorough visit.

Good tour but guide walked too fast for older people and children especially in the extreme
heat, many could not keep up.

It was a good introduction for our Philadelphia visit.

Our tour guide was book-learning student and brought some formal knowledge to this walking tour. For example, while stopping in front of Independence Hall, the guide gave his take on historical events but the participants chimed in, too. I liked the aspect of "walking" since it made one feel like being back in the 1700s with all the physical landmarks, cobblestones, and brickwork especially great was walking thru the Franklins Post Office and then on to the outline of his family home. The mid-day slot made the tour right for encountering on-the-spot dramatic performances associated with parks and landmarks. The guide mentioned the role Franklin's wife, Deborah, played in complementing his life and times. The duration or 2.5 hours was just the right amount of time to enjoy the tour

This was very informative also and helped us decide what we wanted to see when we returned to Philadelphia a few days later.
