On the Philadelphia Photography Walking Tour you will explore the historic district of the city in the company of a professional photographer and guide who will show you how to capture the perfect holiday images.

Walk through the Historic district of Philadelphia, the home of the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was written, as well as numerous historic buildings and museums.

Stops along the way include the Old City area, Betsy Ross's House, Elfreths Alley the oldest continually residential street in the US. Also walk to the Penns Landing Area and get wonderful views of the Ben Franklin Bridge and the Delaware River.

On the way back you will be walking through the Society Hill area and along South Street which offers interesting street life and a funky and diverse environment. If your interest is in Architecture, History or if you just like to shoot people on the street, all of those photographic subjects will be available to you.

There are lots of Philadelphia icons along the route and anyone interested in photography will enjoy this tour. You can even stop for a Soft Pretzel with mustard!

Some of the things you will learn:

• How to see differently, finding new ways to compose an image.
• How to shoot and use available light more effectively.
• How to use the aperture on your camera to give more or less depth of field , learn how to control your cameras instead of letting the camera control you.
• How to use your lens to its best advantage.
