A study in contrast takes you to the old and the new in Pittsburgh. Your tour begins with a ride on the historic Duquesne Incline to the top of Mt. Washington for a spectacular view of Pittsburgh's three rivers and Point State Park where the city of Pittsburgh all began. In 1753, a frontiersman names Christopher Gist led young George Washington to the land of the Three Rivers. Travel to old Allegheny City, now known as the North Side, to Manchester, Mexican War Streets, Millionaire's Row and Calvary Church. Journey past the Carnegie Science Center, PNC Park, Heinz Field and the Andy Warhol Museum. A lunch stop is made at Station Square before continuing on with the second half of the tour.

The guide clearly knew the city well and had done his homework! It was entertaining and educational. Cathedral of Learning was the best part! - take the time to go back after the tour and see all of the Nationality Rooms (he only had time to show us a few of them). Only complaint is not enough bathroom breaks, so plan accordingly :)

We had a great time on this tour. We were on a small bus with a guide and bus driver who got along well and were very knowledgeable. I had made a list of the things I wanted to see in Pittsburgh and we got to all of them and more. I highly recommend this tour.
