Nice clean boat, pleasant trip. As we left on the last boat from Perth, there wasn't time to disembark in Fremantle - if doing again would take earlier trip from Perth, to allow time in Fremantle and to return to Perth on later trip.
The commentary became a little annoying as the cost of housing became he main focus of the information. Telling us one or two house prices might have been relevant but it ended up sounding like a big skite about how much property was worth in Perth. The other information was interesting and worth hearing.
The ferry and cruise were enjoyable and I would recommend it to others.
Had a lovely trip on the river, lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day. Only downfall was people smoking in a designated area that we were not aware of when we sat down (there were a lot of children around). Either make the signs more clearer that it is a smoking zone or have smoke free, preferably the latter. Great afternoon out in Perth.
We like Swam River Scenic Cruise very much and my family would come to Perth again next year...
Overall the tour was very good, and great for a relaxing afternoon seeing some of the sights of Perth. Commentary was insightful and just enough to be interesting without being too much. Highly recommend.
Loved the cruise just disappointed no eftpos available so had to go without food and drinks i wanted
The view was amazing on the tour. The captain as tour guide was a bit pre-occupied with the homes of the local socially elite rather than the history and geography of the area. The boat was beautiful and the stop at the E Pier was a nice shopping experience.
Very enjoyable day. Very impressed with the captains commentary.
It was a great way to see a different side of perth and freo and i would recommend for anyone to do it thourghly enjoy the trip thank you
We enjoyed the tour very relaxing, and informative and we got to choose if we wanted to get off at Fremantle which was great.
I wish though that we could have had wine tasting offer on the way there
Tour itself was very good, the interior, if little tired, nice and clean, commentary much appreciated. Negative point was parking facility. It was nowhere advised that parking at pier is only 2 hours (cruise a minimum of 2.5hrs). Very inconvenient when a visitor and no knowlege of the area. Nearly missed the booked cruise.
We were lucky with a perfect day weather-wise. Everything was organised very well including a late change of date because on of our party was unwell for the original day booked. No extra cost. There was complimentary cold water, coffee and tea and we took our own picnic lunch. The Only complaint we would have is with the commentary. It was very vague and included very little information about the places we passed. Because we had a person with a hearing disability in our party, I had copied a route map from the Captain Cook website and then made up a sheet of information about each place highlighted on the map. We all found it much more useful than the on-board commentary and even shared it with other passengers. We will pass this on directly to CC as including an information brochure with tickets would make the otherwise excellent cruise more informative. It was a good value price and the boat was clean and travelled very smoothly.
