Swan Valley Wine Tour
On the full-day tour, start with a sampling of wines at two small wineries before moving on to the internationally known Houghton Wines. Established in 1836, Houghton’s is one of Australia’s oldest operating wineries, known for its best-selling Classic Dry white wine. Enjoy tasting several varietals before sitting down to a lunch platter, served with a complimentary glass of wine.
After lunch, continue to two more wineries, with a cheese board and nougat tasting included. Next, visit an award-winning microbrewery, where you’ll sample a locally crafted ale.
The last stop of the tour is the Margaret River Chocolate Company. Tantalize your taste buds with melt-in-your-mouth chocolates and truffles! After your delicious tastings, relax on the drive back to Perth.
Those who choose the half-day option will start with a visit to Houghton Wines. The tour will then follow the same itinerary as above (lunch not included).

Kitty was a friendly, informative and enthusiastic guide. Visited a good selection of 3 different types of wineries. A cheese board is supplied at 2 of them. The wineries are followed by a beer tasting with bread and dips which is then followed by a visit to an amazing chocolate shop for some tasting. A wide variety of food and alcohol tastings and everything was good quality, all for a very reasonable price - would highly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed this day tour in the Swan Valley. Our guide, Keith was very knowledgable and the wineries we visited carefully chosen to give us the best possible experience. The lunch at Houghton and visit to the chocolate factory were both useful additions to the wine tasting and we got the chance to meet lots of interesting people during the day, especially as people were swapping in and out of different tours. Have recommended this tour to others.
