What You Can Expect
Your spirited and informative guide will guide you past Independence Hall, the Library of Congress and two dozen other historical sights. Dare to visit whipping posts, gallows and Philadelphia's red light district. Hear some shocking facts about America's founding fathers and titillating stories about executions, mass burials, torture, sexual deviancy, vampires, pirates and ghosts.
Among the many spooky tales you'll hear are stories about pirate ghost ships sailing the Delaware River and spirits haunting City Tavern, an 18th-century tavern prominent in America's early history. After your 2-hour tour concludes across the street from the tavern, you're unlikely ever to look at Philadelphia the same way again!
Guide was excellent - good information, good interactive skill personality. Would recommend to others.
Good tour. Well worth the time spent on less publicized Philadelphia history.
Barnes Foundation, Mutter Museum, Ghost Tour, Independence Hall, City Tavern, ...All great!
This was a wonderful and enlightening tour with with a great guide
Our Guide had a great voice to project. We were a group of 12 which was perfect. We encouraged her to let us sit down at some sites while she talked. Very historic area- helpful getting buses back to our hotel. Interesting facts shared- not too ghosty but old history of Philadelphia.
A good tour, not as exciting as other tours I have taken
