The ride was long and the stops were rushed but the Grand Canyon was an awesome sight to see from the helicopter. I wish we would have broken the trip up with an overnight stay at the Grand Canyon.

The bus trip was rushed, the driver drove very fast (and tailgated other cars). I would suggest dropping Sedona, as little time was spent there and would allow a little breathing room at other stops.

The tour itself was great. The problem was the driver who reeked of cigarettes to the extent that the entire van smelled like an ashtray. He also brought his entire family on the trip with the children taking the seats with the most leg room. This unprofessional behavior put a damper on the trip. The helicopter ride almost didn't happen for some reason I never understood. I was finally put on the last flight of the day.

I knew that it would be a rush, with not much time to stop and enjoy. But we didn't even stop in Sedona, which was a shame. The driver was also terrible. She had no idea where she was going, yet said that she had been doing the tour for years. Thankfully, her boss was there and he directed her, but when I got back to Phoenix and could get off I was very very relieved, which is not how you want to feel after a long tour. I am from England, where we drive on the other side of the road, yet I think I could of driven safer! Other than that, it was worth doing because I only had a day and I got to see the Grand Canyon. The helicopter was definitely worth doing if you are going to the Grand Canyon. If you have any more time available, though, I would do it another way. I hope to go back to Sedona, as it looked like it was worth another trip, but now that I have done it, I wouldn't go out of my way to see the Grand Canyon again.

I would not recommend this if you want to spend more than 20 to 30 minutes seeing the Grand Canyon. If you want to ride in a van all day, yes go ahead and have fun. Also if passengers on your bus don't come back right away, you have to wait for them, which happened to us and our whole day was rushed after that. They should have a policy we wait ten minutes after that, you have to stay there for another pick up at additional charge. Our helicopter got rained out and we still didn't get to see more sites, a total of three sites all together for the whole trip.
