This is a good trip with excellent scenery. The guide was good, but due to a PA system failure, he had to shout the whole trip and it was at times difficult to hear. Overall, we really enjoyed the trip.

For the money you spend, this trip is definitely a good choice. The tour guide had great stories and fun facts all along the way. It seems all tour bus drivers drive a little fast, including this one. Keep in mind this is a 12 person passenger van. At one point of the trip there were 12 people on board and it was cramped. We would have liked to have had a row to ourselves in order to be a little secluded from the rest. Negatives - the ride home from the Grand Canyon is long and you are really tired after the long day. Would have liked to have been in Sedona a little later in the day and maybe for longer. A lot of the stores weren't open yet at 9am. Positives - if you're on a short trip, you do get to see the best parts of Arizona. We had a good time.

The tour bus was comfortable, the tour guides were courteous and friendly and the tour group size was manageable with 12 people. They also kept time. I really appreciated the bottled water available in the bus!!!
While the tour operator did a good job, the length of the tour limits the amount of time that can be spent on either of the three sights. We only got about 2 hours at the Grand Canyon with the other two being much smaller stops. Since I was sightseeing alone and had no more than a day to spare, the tour worked extremely well for me and I am glad I took it.
It was a long day, but the trip and guide were very good and worthwhile.

We started off early, about 6:15 a.m., but the sun was already high in the sky and warm. Our guide was most excellent. He was unflappable, courteous, and informative. More importantly, he was also flexible to our needs. We stopped for coffee, at our request. We were briefly in Sedona to take pictures, and the drive was wonderful. We had our lunch to go at a local deli, and enjoyed the view of the Grand Canyon for an hour. Then there was an optional helicopter ride, which I heard was awesome. On the way back, we stopped in Williams, Arizona at a 50's soda fountain on Route 66. Their burgers were rated as the best in the region, and they were delicious! Due to traffic, we got back around 10 p.m., but it was worth it.

Cool trip. Besides the Grand Canyon, our guide really was the main attraction. A lot was squeezed into the time spend there, but we really got a feel for the canyon and Sedona. If you've got a day to kill, do it.

An excellent learning experience. The changes in the environment from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon were fascinating.

The route was beautiful. The guide was very well informed and gave a great narrative. He did tell too many tired old jokes. More music and silence to absorb the scenery would have been welcome.

It was pretty good but I thought we could have spent more time at the place.

Fun! Fun! Fun! Great guide and tour experience and many picture taking opportunities. The painted desert and Navajo reservation was not what I expected. It had few houses scattered, but the Cameron trading post was a great place to shop for many native Indian arts and crafts.

Our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He made the long journey to the Grand Canyon very interesting; the journey to and from the Grand Canyon was as interesting as the Canyon itself!

The tour guide was great. The only problem was the quality of the food selection.

We would have preferred to visit Sedona on the way back, i.e. before sunset in order to get the right lighting on the rocks for good photography. We suggested to alternate during the week, offer some tours that visit Sedona on the way to the Grand Canyon and the others with the opposite schedule. The guides, even though trying to act professionally and open to suggestions, were not very convincing in really appreciating this suggestion. The van we traveled in had major issues with swaying from side to side for the entire duration of the trip and even though there was wind at times it was not windy all the time.
