What You Can Expect
Your guide welcomes you aboard your climate-controlled van and provides an introduction to the region’s history as you set out on your sightseeing tour in and around Phoenix.
Phoenix is situated in the Sonoran Desert, a swathe of land that covers 100,000 square miles (260,000 square kilometers) of Arizona, California, and the northwest Mexico. Your guide shares informative commentary about the animal and plant life, geography and climate of the arid region, and describes aspects of the many Native American tribes in this region.
Some of the natural treasures you see are Camelback Mountain near Scottsdale, and South Mountain Park. From South Mountain’s lookout point, perched at 1000 feet (305 meters) above the desert floor, take in sweeping views of Phoenix.
In downtown Phoenix, your guide points out landmark buildings and sports stadiums that are home to the Arizona Diamondbacks (baseball) and Phoenix Suns (basketball). Drive by the elegant Arizona State Capitol building — built in 1898 as part of Arizona's push to become a state. Then get photo ops of other architectural gems such as the Arizona Biltmore, the Wrigley Mansion and the former estate of United States Senator Barry Goldwater.
Head into Scottsdale’s Old Town, a vibrant pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with great shops, restaurants and art galleries, and take about one hour to browse on your own. Your guide can provide the inside scoop on local favorites, including places that you can return to later on your own.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and willing to give us additional information and extra perks at every site!
TERRIFIC BECAUSE OF THE TOUR GUIDE!
Chris did a great job and was very knowledgeable.
Great stories and history.
Highly recommend Chris.
I took this tour in August 2013 and had a FABULOUS time! Our tour guide, Princely was amazing. When going on this tour, request tour guide - PRINCELY. He knows everything about Phoenix. Princely took us to many famous local attractions and pointed out great restaurants. He gave us plenty of time to walk around the shops, see a local museum and walk around Scottsdale. He also drove us up to South Mountain for a spectacular view of Phoenix. From local politics....to agriculture....and food Princely knows everything about Arizona. He works hard and provides TREMENDOUS customer service.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRINCELY'S TOUR FOR TOURISTS OF ALL AGES AND......CORPORATIONS THAT ARE VISITING ARIZONA. You will learn everything there is to know about Arizona.
Our driver and tour guide, Will, was extremely knowledgeable. Our group turned out to be very small, so it was very personable. It is a great tour to get a highlight of the area and would highly recommend taking the tour early in your visit so you can go back to restaurants and attractions highlighted. There were so many recommended and interesting places!

Our driver/tour guide was prompt to pick us up at our resort and he was very funny and knowledgeable during the tour, always answering my (many) questions :) The only reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is simply because there isn't that much to see in Arizona, however, we did see all there is to see and I'm pleased my boyfriend and I decided to take this tour. I would recommend it to first timers in this area.
Also, I loved the 2 shops our tour guide suggested we check out when he dropped us off at Old Town Scottsdale for some shopping. Thank you
the trip was great. We enjoyed the guide, Michael and he made the whole experience pleasurable. We got something that we hadn't expected, a tour of South Mountain. We didn't get what we had expected, a tour of the Goldwater house and the Wriglle mansion. But we were satisfied.
