Our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable! Others on the tour felt as I did. Great trip!
Trip was great, tour guide very knowledgeable and informative.
Trip was great, driver was excellent. He knew a lot and took pictures for people.
Excellent trip. Tour guide was great. Lunch was great. Not a single compliant. Highly recommend booking this if you are in Phoenix and only have a day to see the Grand Canyon.
An excellent day tour with a tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the area, good trivia and stories. Nice box lunch. Would highly recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very nice and really gave great information along the way. The ride was comfortable.
I took this tour over the Labor Day weekend. Though it is a very long day, the views and the tour guides are worth it! Because I was staying out of the local pick up area, I met my driver at the Mesa Hilton, where Dan picked me up right as scheduled. We picked up the other tour group members and hit the road. We hit Sedona first, where there was quite a bit of Labor Day foot traffic, but we still got great opportunities to view the Red Rocks. We were left on our own for approximately 30 minutes or so, while Dan picked up our delicious lunch from Wildflowers Bread, Co. Yum! Once we were back in the van, we headed off to the Grand Canyon. Tour Guide Dan offered lots of knowledge on AZ history - especially when it came down to Native American history, which I personally found interesting!
After he dropped off the passengers who chose to do the helicopter flight, he brought the remaining visitors to the Blue Angel Lodge at the South Rim, where we had approximately 1.5 hours to explore on our own. We met back at the bus, and began riding through the park, where he drove us to other much less crowded lookouts. Of course, this is Monsoon Season in AZ, so we got to experience a heavy rainfall, but it didn't last too long, and we got breathtaking views once it passed.
Once we exited the park, we drove through Navajo Nation, and stopped at a trading post, where we had some time to purchase snacks, watch Navajo rugs being made, and shop to our heart's content. I was the first pick up and last drop off, and the tour took a total of 14 hours for me, so yes, it IS a long day, but the tour guides are accommodating, and allow for stops to stretch out your legs. It was a wonderful, adventure filled day, and I can't wait to use Viator for another tour on my next trip! Thank you, Dan!
Robert, our guide, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He kept everything running on time and made sure we enjoyed our day to the fullest. We were with my mom who has bad knees and shortness of breath so this trip is perfect for people who want to see plenty of the Grand Canyon, but can't do too much walking or hiking.
The tour guide was really knowledgably about the area. Lunch was filling and delicious. The bus was comfortable. The scenery is breathtaking! I would recommend this to any family or couple interested in exploring the Grand Canyons.
It was great! unfortunately it was raining. Wonderful experience thanks!
What a fantastic day! This tour really allows you to take in the breath-taking scenery of Sedona, The Grand Canyon, as well as Northern Arizona in a relaxing environment. Our tour guide, Mark, was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. He picked us up at our hotel right on time, enthusiastically interacted with us the entire trip, and gave us tons of information on the areas we passed by and stopped at. He is truly passionate about his job which is refreshing to see. Even the lunch we received was excellent. If you are staying in the Phoenix area and want to see the Grand Canyon, this tour is the only way to go!
Jason was an amazing guide. No other words to say. Thanks to him we had a really good time even if it rained...
I did the day trip to the Gand Canyon with my two kids. Our guide Charlie was extremely knowledgable and made the journey as interesting as the final destination. He had a great sense of humor and kept us thouroughly entertained. I would absolutely recommend this trip. It is well worth the money and the Grand Canyon is a must see.
The trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon was a wonderful experience. Chad was an excellent tour guide.
I had a wonderful time on the trip. Our guide, Mark, was extremely knowledgeable about not only the Grand Canyon, but also the history, culture, geography, and ecology of Arizona. The van was comfortable, and lunch was quite tasty. We stopped at four site seeing areas in the Grand Canyon that gave us time to explore the rim and take some pictures. The tour was planned very well and I would do it again!
I loved the route and the driver. We happened to have a great group of friendly, easy going people in the tour. I would have liked one or two more stops along the canyon. I will use Viator again and recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their eyes on the landscape and not the road.
Well worth the money, the van was comfortable with leather captains seats and our tour guide was very informative! Having an experienced driver allowed us to take in all of the breathtaking stops without concerns of navigating winding roads and figuring out best places to stop or obtain necessary services. Tour guide was very organized, very familiar with all stops, had parking, drop-off, frequent bathroom stops and eating locals all preplanned and running smoothly. This is a great trip for those who want a highlight tour, just be aware that Sedona and Red Rocks stops are necessarily very brief, 20 min-1 hr, since there is so much to cover in one day. Our only mild complaint was that the air-conditioning on our van was not working well, somewhat of a problem for those unaccustomed to AZ heat. I trust this issue was addressed after our tour. Everything else about the trip was perfect and worth the cost!
Our tour with Viator was fantastic, our guide was very knowledgable and the lunch was great, highly recommend Viator.
Great tour. Guide was quite informative and entertaining. If you have only one day to tour, then this is highly recommended. Our family was vacationing in Phoenix and could not have managed or enjoyed such a one-day excursion on our own. Awesome experience for our family!
Our trip was awesome. Mr. Mark was a fabulous tour guide. Very nice and informative! Great way to see the Grand Canyon on a short time frame. Will be back to visit Sedonna again.
Amazing trip. The driver was very knowledgeable: he shared a lot of useful historical / geological facts about grand canyon and sedona. The meal was super nice... overall perfect....
