Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Small-Group Deluxe Grand Canyon and Sedona Day Trip. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
The trip was excellent.
It lived up to its 'de-luxe' description not only in the awesome final destination and the multiple stops there and interesting town of Sedona but also in the quality of the packed lunch. The menu for the latter even allowed one to select the individual ingredients of one's choice of sandwich etc.
I also greatly appreciated the almost constant flow of information about Arizona, the Canyon, the Native American Indians and other points of interest from our indefatigable and very experienced guide, whose name (curiously) was 'Less'.
Having trekked so far to get there, we decided to also take up the option offered during the trip, of going on the helicopter flight over the Canyon. It made the overall trip somewhat expensive but it was well worth it because one saw so much more of the Canyon and its sheer size and splendour.
Overall, I thoroughly recommend the trip.
It was really amazing to finally see the Grand Canyon and Sedona is beautiful to see!! Driver was helpful and great to all of the group! It was really nice to be in this trip!!
Wrote my review and submitted it to you almost 2 weeks ago. "Best of the West" tour guide, Megan. Highly recommend!!!!
This was a very long day but worth every minute and every dollar spent! Our tour guide was amazing and knew a lot about the area which added to the whole experience. The lunch that was provided was great and the stops along the way were also really great! The Grand Canyon was so beautiful and like nothing I have ever seen before. We drove around the rim and stopped at several places for photos. It was a lot colder than what I thought it would be so make sure you wear warm clothes and a coat! I would do this tour again and again if I had the chance!!
Very organized and professional. Highly recommended! Super excellent service!
Our tour guide Paul picked us up in front of our condo on time and off we went to the Grand Canyon. Paul was entertaining on the ride up and back with lots of funny and personal stories. He was also very informative about the landscape and history of the towns and area we drove through. We stopped in Sedona to pick up the gourmet sandwiches that we ordered and made our way to the Canyon. Once we arrived there we were given lots of time to eat, walk around and take photos. Paul took us to several different spots ending with his favorite at the East end. We ended the tour at a Indian Reservation. The whole tour was fun and informative and the Grand Canyon was totally awe inspiring!
This tour was spectacular!
Our tour guide, Robert, was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable and personable. The information just flowed out of him naturally and you could tell he really loved his job. The drive was pleasant (other than having to eat our lunch, which by the way was really good, in the van) and the scenery was beautiful. Once we go to the canyon, the view was breath taking. I’ve always wanted to go to the GC, and this tour was everything I expected. Robert took us to additional spots around the canyon and continued explaining the history and landscape, it was was…awesome!
Got back to Phoenix about 9pm (partially my fault for being late back to the van after ordering two servings of the Indian Fry Bread) and was beat, but every moment was worth it. definitely would recommend this tour!
Montana, our tour guide, was great! The trip itself was well worth the money. Even though we have been to Sedona several times and to the Grand Canyon, we were able to enjoy the scenery and not be distracted with driving. Montana took us to points in the Grand Canyon that we would never have found on our own. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see northern Arizona in one day.
I would give this tour more stars if they were available, we took the tour a week before the fires in Phoenix some of the areas affected by the fire we had traveled through. This was the first time to Sedona I thought it was fantastic. I had been to the Grand Canyon before but it always looks different, you gain a great respect for nature. It is an all day trip so plan accordingly.
Amazing experience! Viator small bus tour is the BEST way to see the canyon. Our bus driver was excellent!
Pictures and words cannot describe the majesty of the Grand Canyon. It was breath taking and awe inspiring. We took advantage of many different view points and were given ample time to enjoy them. Our guide, Rick, shared much information that made our experience even more memorable.
This was an amazing tour to take out of Phoenix. A full day with early morning pick-up from a hotel near our house rental. The driver/guide, Richard was informative and personable, as well as an excellent driver. His stories and information made the long drive fly by. The stop in Sedona was just long enough to do a quick walk around the town's main street, get a taste of the atmosphere and do a real quick shop in one of many art shops. Once near the GC he told us about the helicopter ride which all but 2 in the van took. This was the highlight of the experience. 55 minutes of OMG sights above the canyon. Our pictures and videos are spectacular. We even got to see a herd of elk grazing around the roads on the way back. The lunch of sandwiches picked up in Sedona were delicious, enough for a late afternoon snack on the way back by way of a different route.Interesting shopping at a large Trading Post stop on the way back and a chance for conversation with the other guests on the small, comfortable van. We highly recommend this tour with the added helicopter ride once there!
the most exciting trip I joined - the driver was just outstanding !! his name was Montana, a flood of information !!! thankful and greatly appreciated his taking care of the group!!!
