Pictures and words cannot describe the majesty of the Grand Canyon. It was breath taking and awe inspiring. We took advantage of many different view points and were given ample time to enjoy them. Our guide, Rick, shared much information that made our experience even more memorable.
This was an amazing tour to take out of Phoenix. A full day with early morning pick-up from a hotel near our house rental. The driver/guide, Richard was informative and personable, as well as an excellent driver. His stories and information made the long drive fly by. The stop in Sedona was just long enough to do a quick walk around the town's main street, get a taste of the atmosphere and do a real quick shop in one of many art shops. Once near the GC he told us about the helicopter ride which all but 2 in the van took. This was the highlight of the experience. 55 minutes of OMG sights above the canyon. Our pictures and videos are spectacular. We even got to see a herd of elk grazing around the roads on the way back.The lunch of sandwiches picked up in Sedona were delicious, enough for a late afternoon snack on the way back by way of a different route.Interesting shopping at a large Trading Post stop on the way back and a chance for conversation with the other guests on the small, comfortable van. We highly recommend this tour with the added helicopter ride once there!
the most exciting trip I joined - the driver was just outstanding !! his name was Montana, a flood of information !!! thankful and greatly appreciated his taking care of the group!!!
our guide William was experienced, eloquent and funny. we had a great time learning about Arizona, and seeing the beauty of Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The ride was comfortable and there was so much to see. value for money and a must-do when visiting Arizona.
It was definitely one of the best once in a life time kind of thing. The grand canyon was simply breathtaking and l and my daughter loved every bit of it and thanks to Rick who was fantastic as well as the other guys who came with us
I had a wonderful trip. Our tour guide "Jo Jo" made the whole experience interesting with many historical stories and points of interest. Traveling with a small group of 10 people was a great way to see the grand canyon and we all got to know each other quickly. It was an amazing experience and a memorable trip. Thank you so much.

our Grand Canyon/Sedona day trip was great, starting with the early morning hotel pick up until the day was finished. Our tour guide was friendly and very informative, and it was fun to meet the other travelers. I would book with Viator again ----great service!!
Kirk R. of Detours was great! Gave good facts about the history and surroundings. Very pleasant and helpful..always professional. If you have limited time to see Grand Canyon--this is the trip to do! Was offered an add-on of a helicoptor tour of North and South Rim of Canyon. What an incredible experience. Sedona Red Rocks and brief stop at Navaho trading post (30 mins) was excellent. Included lunch was healthy, very ample. Had a picnic overlooking the Canyon. Beautiful. Would recommend this trip to those with limited time. Excellent.

We like the tour guide for his knowledge and courtecy during our trip. We enjoy the one day trip but will comeback to stay longer next time for the sunset and sunrise in the canyon.

My trip was excellent. So was your driver/ guide.
The bus was very comfortable to travel in. The guide, Memo, did an excellent job of driving and giving us information. A couple of improvement items. On the outskirts of Sedona, stop at one of the lookouts and allow the passengers to take a picture for 5 minutes. Also, maybe have 45 minutes in Sedona instead of only 30 minutes. The gourmet lunch had delicious sandwiches.
Visiting the Reservation was a little misleading as it was just a Trading Post. However, Memo did point out areas of the reservation on the drive there. Again, need an extra 15 minutes to shop and buy. Overall, I enjoyed the trip and was glad that I went with the small-group....
