Our tour guide Ann was excellent, the Thai government is still building the memorial where the navy boat was washed ashore once it is complete it will be impressive, the canoneing relaxing and no complaints about lunch. The elephant ride was nothing like we have experienced before the handler actually gets of the elephant and walks leaving the passangers in the seat (a little bit scary) but good all the same. Instead of going to Monkey Temple we went to a park there was so many monkeys there it was great.
All up worth every cent.

Fabulour trip - air conditioned bus - about 2 hours both ways but well worth the travel.

For those who have the adventure spirit in them (like us), they would enjoy the 3.5 hours one way drive. After that, we loved both parts of the trip, the elephant trekking which was outstanding, and the kayaking that was so relaxing. In between we had a great lunch Thai buffet that we loved too.

The tour was very well organised. It was a very long journey from Phuket (Kata) up to the jungle - around 3 hours each way and we weren't quite prepared for it to take that long. However the bus was comfortable and we stopped for coffee along the way. Consequently it was a full day but with 6 hours of driving!
Once we got there it was straight into the canoe, which was very relaxing and pretty amazing to be going through the jungle - and by jungle it really looked like something from a film - it was *that* perfect! The canoe trip was lots of fun.
The lunch was very good - loads of well cooked food and plenty to drink
The elephants were the real stars of the day - not only did they look really happy, they were real characters and it was the most fun to ride through the jungle on them. We had the opportunity to pet and feed them (they particularly like watermelon) at the end, which added a whole other level to the experience!
I'd recommend this trip to all ages - everyone seemed to have a really enjoyable day.

Our guide was very friendly, the drive was long but we were very comfortable. The whole experience was just brilliant. One of the highlights was our Elephant Trainer sang Thai songs throughout our trek. He also pointed out natural fauna and wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

It was good. personally I am not regretful to doing that despite long hours being on the way. I really enjoys elephant trekking and canoing. The museum wan not a real museum though. It was just a ship left from tsunami time.

I enjoyed all the day's activities but it is a lot of traveling admittedly through scenic country to make it a long day.

We did this trip on my birthday- March 30th.
The mini bus was very modern and nice, but rather a long drive. The trip went well even in the heavy rain
