This was the best time we had in krakow. Peter our guide was very informative and intelligent. He was also very funny and kept us entertained with anecdotes throughout our trip to nova huta. We both had a turn at driving the trabant on some waste ground and this was the cherry on the cake.

This is a must do trip if you are in Krakow. Olek was a great host and full of relevant and unique information. Traveling by Trabant is both an experience and an adventure.(pushing skills useful!) Upgrade to the deluxe trip - you will need the time. Thanks again for a great trip

We had a great time. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and spoke very good English. We found out so much and experienced what life might have been like.

Magnificent, reminded me my childhood, things I have forgotten. And for my partner who is from West , was an incredible funny experience to see the way Eastens used to live:). I would only recomend this tour to the people who has sence of humor and not afraid to experience new things including food. Well done guys!!!

Hilarious!!!! This is one of the best trips we've been on. The guide was excellent, VERY funny - we pretty much laughed non-stop for 2.5 hours. Driving in this iconic car was a bone-rattling experience! Our only regret is that we didn't book the longer tour because we didn't want to it end. It was the highlight of our weekend in Krakow :-)

Terrific tour! With so many Eastern European countries destroying remnants of their communist past, it's great to see a tour that confronts the past head-on...showing both the horror and humor of that era. Highly recommended!

We had an informative and amusing guide who gave us a great description of life in Communist era Krakow. Our "loud" car provided trouble free transport despite its protests and this is a great way to see Nowa Huta. It was one of our highlights .

This was great fun! Our guide was well spoken, and very knowledgeable about both the communist history, as well as Poland's current climate.
Two highlights were the visit to the "milky bar", and the furnished apartment. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who's after something a little different, but still informative and educational!
As the tour guide is also the car driver, if you book the tour - it'll most likely be just yourselves and the guide (so you're not really mixing with other tourists). I think however that if you are a large group of travellers, you can hire a number of cars to take the tour together.
Do it if you have the time!
