This tour is definitely worth the money! We were picked up on time at our hotel by Ron, our tour guide. Very pleasant, friendly and knowledgable about everything relating to this state and the areas he took us to. The van was comfortable and clean and he had a complimentary bottle of water for all of us.
The trip there was long but beautiful scenery. The coast was breathtaking! Magnificent views from the peaks and the shoreline! Definitely a photographers dream for some stunning keepsakes.

This was a really beautiful tour. Our guide Sergio was so full of information and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this tour . Thank you for everything!
My sister and I had an excellent tour with our guide, Ron. He was eloquent and knowledgeable and gave us tons of information about the beautiful places we saw. We are so glad we took this tour!
I really enjoyed this tour! I loved that it was a small group in a comfortable mini-van, and the tour destinations were fascinating. My only complaint was that I felt SO rushed at each stop. We only had 15 minutes at Echoa State Park, 15 minutes at the Astoria Column, and 30 minutes to tour the Maritime Museum! I think if the tour was extended just ONE HOUR, it would allow for more time to enjoy the destinations, rather than feeling rushed to take pictures of everything and appreciate the locales after the fact. My tour guide (I can't remember his name) was fantastic, very patient, humorous, and informative. I would DEFINITELY recommend this tour to others, and I'm inclined to try other Viator tours in the future. Thanks!
This tour was terrific! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very concerned about our comfort. The scenery was more beautiful than we had anticipated. Highly recommend this tour.
Great tour guide:). Just the perfect amount of time and took us to all of the great locations.
Fantastic tour ... Our guide was amazing - so knowledgable and took us to some great spots - such a stunning coastline!
Excellent trip. Just what we were looking for. We wanted to see some of the Oregon coastline from Portland. This was a great way to go, reasonable and worth the price. The guides were charming, excellent and informative. Ron and Jenny were extremely patient with one customer who repeatedly asked for directions to things in and around Portland and other parts or Oregon. Consistently pleasant and helpful. Overall wonderful experience. Would have loved more time at Cannon Beach, but it just wasn't feasible. Only recommendation I could make is that it was sometimes difficult to hear in the back two rows of the van. Excellent recommendations for lunch spot. Spectacular day!!
I joined the tour to have sth to do on that day but it turned out to be one of the best trips I have ever taken
Tour guide was amazing, so were all other tour mates.
Absolutely brilliant tour. Ron was a great guide and even in the rain, we had a wonderful day. Thankyou very much
The scenery is incredibly beautiful along the Oregon coast and no picture can really capture it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and he went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed the trip. He gave us an option of restaurants for lunch and we all chose the same one where we could sit outside and watch the waves of the Pacific lapping the sandy beach. We were a group of only five tourists so we got a lot of personal attention and our guide was able to answer all of our questions about Oregon.
Astoria was interesting because of the very vocal sea lions at the dock and the view from the Lewis and Clark monument area was stupendous.
There is many places to see I suggest to take this tour to every body who likes nature.
Our guide, Gunner, took us on our coast tour. We saw the beautiful scenery of the coastline, visited the maritime museum and stopped for a nice lunch in Seaside. The weather was wet and windy but that did not spoil a great day. Gunner was very informative and ensured we had a fantastic day. This is a must do tour.
I was the only person on the tour. The guide suggested different places to go on the tour to accommodate my interests. As a result I never made it to Astoria (which was my choice) but I went hiking to the beach and went to several superb photography locations. I would highly recommend this tour and tour operator.
Loved It! Cannon Beach is truly beautiful. Our tour guide was wonderful and accommodating!
The Oregon Coast is one of the most spectacular things I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. The views from Ecola State Park, Haystack Rock and the ending in Astoria. Words cannot do justice to how beautiful this part of the world is.
Good itinerary. Excellent guide Tom : knowledgable and entertaining.
Only suggestion would be to add some additional time at the Columbia River Museum.
Excellent tour guide Tom, was very knowledgeable of the area and interesting fun facts all around. Fun tour to see what Oregon has to offer outside of the city
This was an absolutely breathtaking look at the Oregon coast. Ron, was knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent guide. If you can only choose a few things to see while in Portland, this should be one of them.
knowledgeable/accommodating host. Comfortable ride. Would recommend.
This trip to Astoria and Cannon Beach was fantastic. Our tour guide Debbie was thoughtful and shared interesting facts and history about the region throughout the day. We had the right amount of time to enjoy the beautiful views, tour the shops and enjoy local restaurants. This trip is well worth the time and the ticket price.
Hotel pickup was spot on. The tour group was small and our guide, Michelle, was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history and landscape of Oregon. The visit to Cannon Beach was perfect. We were able to spend time walking along the beach and view the Haystack rocks. Michelle took us up to Ecola State Park to get some nice views of Cannon Beach from afar at higher elevation. We also visited the Columbia Maritime Museum in Astoria to learn about the rich history of the Columbia River and its importance to the region. This tour will provide some of most beautiful views of the Pacific NW coast and I would recommend to anyone who has full day to explore outside Portland.
