The sites and weather was so great in January; saw all the mountains in Oregon and Washington. Great guide (she had a lot of trivial about Oregon). This made the tour all that much more. Worth the full day tour.
I had an excellent adventure. The tour guide was personable. The tour group was small which meant lots of individual attention. I met three ladies from California and we had a great time together. Oregon is beautiful.
Everything was perfect.....from our guides arrival time, her safety concerns, her narration, her driving, the content of the tour. Well done.
We enjoyed the whole experience. Our guide shared excellent information as well as local opinion of Portland and the Multanomah falls. Do not miss the falls! Gunner was flexible and at the same time kept us on time. He also had a great sense of humor making it a really fun trip.
We saw a lot in one day and our guide was very personable and informative.
Wow, what a tour. Our guide, Ron, greeted us warmly and we felt comfortable from the start. Ron knew so much about Portland and we learned a lot about the area and more. The waterfalls were magnificent and we were lucky to see them half frozen as the weather had been so cold. The van was warm and roomy. An excellent tour and we would recommend this highly.
Exceptional tour. Gunner the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Just loved this tour.
very nice and beautiful views of the waterfalls. Tour guide was very informative on the areas we traveled. Thank you!
This tour was well worth our time. Our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure that we saw the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and significant parts of Portland. He tailored it to the weather and the wishes of those on the tour. I highly recommend this tour!
We saw an awful lot on this tour, the winter waterfalls being half frozen was amazing. Gunner was a good tour guide, informative but not over the top. Would definitely recommend
This was a brilliant tour, our guide was excellent and could not do enough for us. An excellent way to see Portalnd and learn about the area of this amazing city. Again another mention to the our amazing guide who really made what was an excellent tour unforgettable.
We were picked up on time by Tom on a not so ideal day. (Rainy and foggy). He was great and adjusted the tour to accommodate the weather. Tom was very knowledgeable about the area and sights we took in. Gave us several options at the stops and allowed us to do as much or little walking as we were comfortable. The observation point was foggy on the way up so we made other stops and when we came back down it was much better. The falls were magnificent. Wish it had been a nicer day but we can't control the weather. Guess I didn't read the tour well but was so surprised and excited about a couple of stops I hadn't anticipated. Things I had wanted to do and see but didn't expect to. Tom also suggested a couple of restaurants instead of going back to the hotel. We lunched with one of the other guest on the tour and it was really nice to get to know someone else traveling and exchange experiences. Refreshed, the afternoon tour of downtown was equally exciting and were able to take the tram to hospital.. (one I had wanted to do but didn't think I would have the opportunity). Beautiful views. The rose gardens, though rose had taken a beating over the record rainfall on the weekend was so beautiful to walk through. Would love to come back in season and enjoy the sights and smells. The day was paced well so when we arrived back at the hotel we weren't exhausted. We truly enjoyed our week in Portland and would like to visit again. We would definitely take another tour with Viator.
My tour guide was Ralph. He was a long time resident of the city and boy did he know his stuff! We spent the first half of the tour driving around all the neighborhoods of downtown Portland. One of the stops was at the International Rose Test Garden which was beautiful. His knowledge of the City was impeccable and he answered every question I threw at him with ease. He shared insights into the City that I never would have been able to get out of the typical guidebooks. The afternoon was a drive to the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls which was stunning. We had plenty of opportunity to snap pictures at each of the waterfalls and never felt rushed. It was a full day's tour. My hotel pickup was at 9:00am and I got dropped off at 6:00pm. It was worth every penny.
It gave a great overview of the area. Our guide was informative and friendly. He was able to relate our home town areas to Portland. It was a nice mix of old, new, and natural venues.
