It was a nice food tour. Very personable and friendly tour guide. At times, it felt a little unorganized but We were the only couple on the tour, so who knows if it is always like that. I would recommend this food tour to anyone going to Porto.
Virginia, our guide was amazing. She took us to some lovely cafe's where we tried some wonderful local dishes and drinks. Things we would never had tasted or places we would never have found for ourselves.
She was also extremely generous with her time and stayed with us far longer than we would have expected.
We both felt the tour made our visit to Oporto - a very beautiful city. We will certainly recommend the city and especially the tour to all of our friends.
Thank you so much Virginia

Virginia our guide was great. It's the best way to see and experience Porto. Due to a conflict with guide availability we had to modify our time. The manager of the tour company was very flexible, and we wound up getting a private tour by default. You taste a wide array of food and drinks. She took us to places we never would have found and really enjoyed. I couldn't imagine any other way to experience this city.
Our time spent in Porto was unbelievable!!! Our guide Virginia did and excellent job taking us on a walking tour and explaining all of the sights to us. She didn't stop there, we sampled local wines, coffee and desserts from this region along with in-depth explanations of their culture, history and traditions. Porto is a lovely city and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you Virginia for a great time!
Wound up being the only couple on tour. Ricardo our guide revamped a lot of his itinerary to include more of his own choices, adding additional places to sample wine and food.
Despite landing in Porto on a holiday, and many places closed, my guide Emma brought me to many interesting restaurants, I had my very first tasting of bacalao, ate Portuguese egg tart, and drank ginginha in a chocolate cup, and brought to every historic place in Porto. Emma knew her facts well, and gave me a history lesson of Porto. I didn't feel bored, and I would recommend this tour to anyone who goes to Porto.
