you tour. I wish that you would have provided a walking map tour to get oriented were we are going.
Absolutely brilliant trip and well worth the money. A good 3 course lunch was included in the price (drinks extra) at a very nice restaurant with spectacular views of the city. The tour was part by coach and part by foot with a boat trip on the river at the end (complementary drink and icecream included!) The boat trip however just covered a very small part of the river- the guide pointing out places of interest while the boat seemed to go round in circles! All in all though this tour gave us a comprehensive overview of the city on our first day which enabled us to decide which parts we wanted to explore in more depth during the remainder of our stay. Comfortable footwear advisable but having said that the amount of walking was not excessive and there were plenty of stops to have a short rest! One thing to bear in mind- the meeting point for the start of the tour is not easy to find so allow a little extra time to get there or you may miss out!
This was a great tour. Our guide knew so much about the history and sites. The lunch was fabulous. The meeting location was hard to find on google maps, so be sure and call have them pick you up at your hotel instead.
This tour was amazing. The only complaint that I would have is that it says it lasts for 7 hours but it actually finished after 6. 6 hours was just about right anyway though.
Tour was interesting. We saw things that I wouldn't have found on my own, I guess when you say a castle I expected a castle not a whole bunch of buildings that are the castle complex. They were still stunning to look at just not what I had in mind. The lunch was very nice and the position spectacular. The river cruise was interesting. The guide was very informative. He did a good job considering he said everything 3 times, first in Spanish, then Russian and then English. That was a little frustrating as we stay at tourist points of interest longer than you would of if he only told the story once! It was a good intro to Prague though as he walk us through the old town and new town which helped us get our bearings for the rest of our trip
Our tour guide was very helpful, informative and friendly. We had an amazing time walking around Prague, loved the castle and the views at lunch time. We wish we could have had a more in depth tour of the castle. The boat ride was alright but overrated.
We had a wonderful day. The tour was well organised. A van picked us up from our hotel in the morning. We were taken to the new town area where all the tourists met up, and from where we drove around with the tour guide. The initial hour or so was on the minibus, but then we covered most places by foot, which was quite enjoyable, but can be a wee bit taxing on little ones. The best parts were that the tour guide was really really friendly, a lot of the credit goes to her for making that day enjoyable. The other highlight of the tour was the lunch - It was at a fantastic restaurant, great view of the town from the hill top, and superb food. (Alcohol is not included, which is fair). My only gripe was that there is so much to see, a 7-hour tour is a bit rushed. It doesn't do proper justice to the history, culture and architecture of this beautiful city of Prague. We'd have to go back again for a more relaxed holiday.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Prague and the Czech Republic. This tour covered most of the highlights of this wonderful city. However, I would recommend that this be the FIRST tour that you take at the beginning of your trip here because the guide also pointed out many other places to see that were not included.
yes well worth it this tour very good guide and enjoyable place for lunch
Very nice, recommended. The restaurant where we had lunch by the castle was nice and we were fortunate to see the changing of the guards at the castle.
Quite an enjoyable trip with a fairly friendly and knowledgable guide. The castle is huge, so we could cover only the highlights. The cruise was very enjoyable and the lunch was at a restaurant with lovely views of the city. A pleasant way to experience Prague.
Interesting to visit, tour guide was excellent, recommend to others to see.
Quite a well organized, comprehensive tour of this magnificent city. The only regret is the visit of the Prague Castle - all you get to do is to walk the grounds. You do not get to visit any of the inside of the castle (in that sense, the title of this tour is a bit misleading). The boat ride was great, small group, personalized (not canned) commentary and luckily for us, a gem of a person as Captain and Guide for the boat ride. He was well informed, a proud native and extremely humorous. We didn't want the boat ride to end! Lunch was in a great location, but the tour group got the back tables and not the ones with the great views, which was a shame.
