An excellent trip to a very nice location. Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable, but her German was better than her English. The guide who took us round the castle was excellent - we got to see the "Crown jewels" - or a copy of them. However, the unlocking and locking of doors as we moved from room to room was farcical - as was a stray in-costume musician, playing the lyre, sat in one of the rooms - flogging his CD and with a bowl for donations!
WE had a choice of how to get from the coach park to the castle - you coudl walk for free but its very steep. Taxi was the safest, but the route was about 5km in a strange roundabout way. Horse and cart seemed too cold for mid-October. We all walked down into a sweet village area - some cafes, restaurants and food stalls available as well as shops, mostly tourist rather than craft.
A long half day though - we didn't get back to Prague until gone 2.30

was lovely to be able to see some of the lovely countryside on the way to the Castle. Had plenty of time there to see all that was open to the public with a very good guide.

Better done in Summer not late October since they close off part of the castle.

It was fair. I like the tour guide. Very old man with good knowledge. Wish to spend more time with the castle and do the Tour #3 tower tour, but there is not enough time.

The castle itself is great, medieval, the location is in the forest, very pretty. The actual tour of the castle is 50 minutes long with the local guide in the castle, but during the trip the tour guide gives you a lot of information.

The trip was average as the relevant information of the castle was conveyed by an employee from the Castle. The castle itself was very interesting

As usual the guide was very knowledgeable and was open to questions. She also spoke many languages. The castle itself is very nice but small in size and doesn't offer a lot of objects to contemplate. Being located on the top of a hill, the tour finishes with a walk threw a small town at the bottom.

We were sure our guide was an ex-preschool teacher, and a very bossy one at that! The bus drive was quite pleasant, seeing a bit of the Prague countryside, and the castle tour a bit disappointing. A quick 30 minute tour through the castle, without any extra time to 'poke around' ourselves to explore. Wouldn't bother again with this tour.
