This tour will give you a fabulous opportunity to learn about the Czech people and their culture.
In the town of Pilsen, (a metropolis of Western Bohemia), beer has been brewed since the town was founded in 1295. But the Pilsner known around the world currently is connected with the name of Pilsner Urquell and is brewed in the Prazdroj brewery built in 1842. Since that time brewers all over the world have been trying in vain to imitate Pilsner Urquell taste!
Your factory visit will help you to understand how Pilsner (this bread which flows) was brewed and drunk in the past and how Pilsner is brewed and drunk today. The museum's collection document the brewery's 150 year long history. Lunch in the brewery's restaurant Na Spilce is included in the tour price.
The Czech Republic's most famous glass factory is situated in a small town Nizbor on the Berounka river (a tributary to the Vltava river) approximately an hours drive from Prague. On your factory tour, you will learn the complete history of the contemporary period of glass production in Bohemia. You will be given an excellent opportunity to buy glass products at the glass factory Niûbor at favorable discounted prices.
