What You Can Expect
Your guide will tell you about Mozart’s relationship with Prague, which was so loved by the composer that it got the nickname ‘Mozart’s Mistress.’ You’ll also hear about another famed 18th-century figure, Casanova, who visited Prague in the 1750s and spent his last years writing his memoirs at a Czech castle – Duchcov Chateau.
Next, move on through Old Town to the Tyn Court, home to foreign traders and merchants in the Middle Ages. The courtyard neighbors the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, the 15th-century Gothic cathedral that dominates the Old Town skyline.
Follow your guide the few steps to Old Town Square, home to Prague’s famous Astronomical Clock. Listen as your guide tells you about the clock’s history, which dates all the way back to 1410, before continuing a few blocks west to the old Jewish quarter (also known as Josefov), where you can admire the Old New Synagogue (the oldest in Europe) in the peaceful evening ambience.
Finally, head to the edge of the river, where you’ll catch a glimpse of Charles Bridge (and hear a little about its astrological symbolism) and then board a boat for your Vltava River cruise. Your one-hour cruise meanders along the river, allowing you to admire both sides of the river illuminated at night as you sip on your included beverage.
Really enjoyable tour, just the three of us with our guide Honza and a guest from another Viator office. We learned a lot, saw a lot and Honza was very engaging and enthusiastic. A great way to see the Old Town then see the city lit up at night.
Dagmar was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend if you can arrange to have her as your guide.
I was the only person on the tour and thought it was great. My guide Honza gave me not only the history of Prague but gave me insight into life in Prague today.

The tour was very small, since we were the only two people that signed up for that particular tour time. But Jan our tour guide was most personable, friendly, knowledgeable, energetic, and gave us an entertaining, smart, well-laid out tour. Well worth it! This was a highlight of our time in Prague! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enhance their visit to Prague.
Great tour great guide. The walking tour was very enjoyable and our guide was full of stories both factual and to amuse. The cruise was also enjoyable and our guide continued to provide commentary and information throughout. A great way to see a different side of Prague.
Good way to get to see the entire city.
We were fortunate to be the only two people on the tour that night . Our guide Michael was great . He didn't short cut anything even though we were only two . His stories made the tour very interesting . He stayed with us on the cruise and continued to explain all the sights .The drink included on the cruise was a pleasant surprise .Great tour
Mike did a great job of showing me the city and telling some interesting legends. The river cruise at night was the real highlight. Be sure you see Prague at night!
It was really amazing, I walked with the tour guide around 2 hours and I knew a little bit more of the history of Prague, at the end you get a boat ride with a beer included, I really recommend this tour:)
We were lucky enough to be the only tourists on this "personal" tour. Martin the guide was very informative and a very likeable young man. Recommend this tour.
