An excellent tour! Our guide, Dagmar, was incredible. She extended our allotted time to make sure we saw as many "hidden" places/treasures as possible.
Michael was a very good guide, he was on time and very informative. He matched the tour to our interests and we saw hidden parts of the centre of Prague that we never expected to be there!! All together a very worth while morning.
We took this tour on our 3rd day in Prague and it was well worth it. Our guide took us to places and pointed out details that we would not have known. This beautiful city felt even more rich with the stories and facts that go hand in hand with the history.
Vaslov was thorough, thoughtful, and passionate about his city.
Michael was an excellent guide who listened to our needs. Very knowledgable and good communicator.
LOVED this tour! My brother and I went to 8 different cities in Europe and took many tours and this was by far the best one. We really learned about the history of the city, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend doing the prague in one day, or something of that sort before doing this tour though. With this tour, you really get to see some amazing places that you would never see on other tours, and you go where actual locals would go.
great guide, super knowledgeable. spoke good English and showed us a lot of off the beaten path spots
Good knowledge of history and certainly shown different areas of prague that he normal tourist probably wouldn't find. Our guide was good but felt a little rushed.
Our guide was very nice but his English was not that good and it seemed he was struggling, and we in turn had to guess at what he was trying to say. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating but perhaps stayed on the subject too long. We had already visited some of the places he had on his list to show us which threw him off a bit. He needs to better articulate his thoughts as we know he had the knowledge and stories to tell us, but fell short due to the language issue. It is hard to write anything negative because he was such a likeable person.
We started out by walking to a corner and standing there while he talked for 20 minutes. So, while the tour was somewhat interesting and we did see some places we did not see on the mainstream city tour, some of the hidden passageways were shortcuts through shopping malls. We did see some beautiful gardens of a church and learn some interesting facts, though. So, all that being said, I would have expected more "hidden" gems for the price. If the price were lower, I would have given a higher rating.
