Perfect evening for my first night in Prague.
Our Guide was excellent and as there was only 4 people on the this night it felt like a group of friends going out for drink and food rather than a tour.
We enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide took us to several beer pubs that the locals frequent. It was a fun knowledge filled evening and a great way to get a glimpse of the city of Prague.
Well to tell you the truth, I am not a big beer drinker. However, I'm game for most things and tried a lot of different beers-some more unusual than others (one smelled and tasted like smoke). I did enjoy visiting the 3 pubs and had a lovely time. Our tour guide was very nice. We had a good time and I would recommend this trip to anyone.
Initially made reservations for my beer-loving husband, 14 yo son and me. My husband was sick and missed the tour. My son and I enjoyed the tour a lot even though only one of us drank the beer. I enjoyed the czech beer despite not being a beer drinker. It was very interesting to learn about the history of beer and feel the pride the Czech's have for their beer.
Our guide, Mike, was excellent.
Ironically, the same tour guide, Michael, that had led our morning history tour, also led this tour. And we were once again the only 2 people which was great! He intended on talking us to three pub crawls, but we were tired after our first 2 because 1. we're not big drinkers and 2. we were just plain tired from all our traveling. He seems very knowledgeable and it was fun learning interesting new facts. We're now dark beer drinkers!
It turned out that I was the only person on this tour, so I had a personalised tour. The tour itself was very enjoyable and proved useful for discovering some very nice places to eat later during my stay, which were central and reasonably priced.
On the downside, I think the tour was more than a little overpriced, especially considering it was outsourced to a local tour firm, who advertise the same tour for almost half the price. Would gladly have paid this Viator rate to the guide who escorted me around, as he definitely did a good job.
It was a great tour, liked the food, and loved the beer. And it being a small group made for fun conversation.
The guide was very knowledgable and took us to great breweries. Czech beer is wonderful and we were very happy with the tour. It was nice that we were the only couple in the group. Thanks!
This was hands down out favorite tour!! Highly recommend!!
We had a great tour guide who took us to four different restaurants or beer gartens.
We sampled different Czech foods and beer. Lots of fun!!
SPECTACULAR tour, very well organized and nicely done. I can honestly say that I felt that I competently conquered the food and beers of Prague. The guide was well knowledge individual and he knows his food and beer like there is no tomorrow. I wasn't a dark beer or lager or heavy beer fan but he found the perfect beer for me and it was very light and delicious. The table food was delicious at every section we went too was catered to us. We didn't have to wait at all as we waltzed right in and took a table like we were long long guest or celebrities. It was really fascinating and exciting at the same time. The guide also made sure we got home properly also which was really considerate of him to do that. Be prepared to experience alot of different beer and table foods, have an open mind and be ready to have fun. The group I was in was very interesting bunch and I think I made some friends for life.
Was the only one on this tour,,tour guide took me to 3 different bars and micro brewery's
had 5 different beers and some Czech food, the tour guide told me about each beer I had , how it was made
Would recommend this tour of you like Czech beer
would have been better with more people on the tour,
Only 3 of us in the tour group and we had 2 tour guides. A lot of fun. More like an evening out with friends.

Very festive evening during the Prague floods, we couldn't go to one of the venues due to the floods, but the tour guide quickly arranged an alternative. The beer and traditional floods were excellent!
We had a great food and beer tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly and discussed all kinds of topics including czech life and world affairs. We visisted two microbreweries (neither was overlapped the brewery tour my husband and son took earlier). We were able to go down and see the brewing process in action. The food was ample and interesting - typical of a czech dinner - sausages, cheeses, fresh veggies, spreads, condiments. Our guide even asked and arranged for us to buy one of the mugs! - thank you for a great tour!
It was a nice experience to walk around with some locals and get the lay of the land, understand some of the Czech/Prague beer history and drink DECLISIOUS beer...
This tour was interesting in its content, but the tour guide didnt really seem to want to be there, and was only going through the motions. There was a second guide there who was very knowledgable, but ended up being very drunk at the end of the evening, which was not very pleasant. This tour really has to up its game.
We were the only couple on this tour, so very small group! We enjoyed it but would have been nice to have some other people to share the experience with. Food platter was good also.
I was looking forward to seeing Czech's beer halls. But unfortunately, the tour only included microbreweries. It was disappointing that we weren't able to see a popular feature of the Czech Republic-beer halls.
The tour was not worth the money. It turned out to be more of a bar crawl then a beer tour. I expected to learn something about The beer from he region but didn't. The stops we made were really good until the last one. The guide brought us to two places that turned us away! Plan in advance!
This "tour" was the worst experience I've had in Europe. It was basically being kidnapped by a drunk person. None of the breweries knew we were coming and no one knew our tour guide. We paid 84 euro for less than 20 euro of beer. Our guide got drunk and left us at a random pub. Complete waste.
