This was absolutely the best way to see Prague. Biking was easy albeit one hill makes you sweat a little. Our guide was awesome, a native American, he has studied earnestly to know almost any important fact about this lovely city. It was a long day but, we came away with a great sense of Prague as well as a day of enjoyable exercise. Please ask for Greg, he was down to earth and well learned!
Shawn from Scotland was an amazing guide and gave us much more than our money's worth, what a great way to see the city.
Get Sean. His scottish is at times trying to understand but he brings such a passion for the history. He doesn't have a formal history background which may worry some but he knows every nook and cranny of this town. He's hilarious, he's considerate, he's especially knowledgeble. Request him. Enjoy!
We had a great guide in Sean, this non nonsense Scotsman made Our Prague trip extra special, he extended the tour and had the most entertaining stories. Remember to TIP!
We had a fun time our guide, Sean, was fun and informative. Only wish it wasn't so hot, 36C, exhausting!
It was great! Our guide was Sean Garrity and he was really good at making sure the whole group was having a nice time. He's also very educated about the town. The tour can be a rather physically challenging ride - but not too much - so it was perfect to stretch out and see the town. You certainly see quite a bit of the town and it was a great introduction to Prague! DEFINITELY a good value.
This was a fantastic experience - and in our view the best way to see Prague under your own steam...
By no means too exhaustive - basic fitness fine and if you want get off and push the bike, there is plenty of time. Cars, trams, traffic not a concern, in fact very respectful unlike other cities Thx
I really enjoyed this tour, it was a great introduction to the city and the perfect way to see most of the attractions of the city. Definitely recommend it!
Very good. Guide was articulate, inyteresting and well informed. Goulash soup lunch was also very good.
Wow! Great introduction to the city. Our guide (Rick from Oregon) was knowledgable and charming. Would highly recommend this trip - even riding on the cobblestones!
What a great way to see the city! Highly recommend it. Bikes are good quality and comfortable and guide funny and interesting.
Great Tour Guide, good English, sole rider but tour still went ahead, very impressed.
Such a great city and a very well paced bike tour. Highly recommend using this tour company.
I had a personal tour with a friendly guide David. The bike-tour is a good choice if you have only half of a day to spend in Prague or for a start of thorough exploration of the city. One can see everything worth seeing in a short time, while the insider guide tells you lots of interesting stories about history, architecture and daily life in Prague.
The bike was excellent. Still, some cycling experience is recommendable. Previuos operation of bicycle gears and couping with city traffic makes the tour absolute fun.
Our bike trip was a dream. We had an excellent guide - Sean Garrity- who made Prague come to life. He shared so many aspects of Prague's history. I am not super fit and yet I managed - even if I had to push the bike for some of the distances! He was a patient and humourous guide and the whole experience was fabulous! A definite MUST!
Muito bom. Mas um tanto cansativo quando da ida ao Castelo de Praga, pois fica na parte alta da cidade. Porém, quem tem disposição física sufuciente entendo totalmente recomendável.
We were able to visit everything on this tour of Prague and were lead by the roguish Scot, Sean for an alternative insight into this city with a dark history. If you are taking the six hour tour, be prepared to take snacks along with you as even though we stopped at a beer garden for a drink, there was no time allocated for lunch. Enjoyable and the east way to experience any city is on a bike.
The bike tour was ok but could be better. Prague is so rich in history and culture and the guide did not really highlight all of that. He seemed tired and talked about his personal life.
Hesitated to write this review because the tour and guide were great. Mike was extremely knowledgeable! It was only the two of us on the tour so it was really fantastic! However, we saw an advertised price that was lower than we paid at the shop we left from and we didn't see any of the Jewish Quarter. This was not due to lack of time because we were back in 3.5 hours.
Was not able to find the meeting place. Found at the next day when I arrived for a walking tour the actual office is about a 100 meters from the address on the voucher and around a corner out of sight. It would probably be a good idea to make note of this in the voucher that is sent and/or leave a sign at the location directing us to the correct location.
I couldn't find the meeting point. The address given ( Michalska 432/12)was a gallery. No sign of the tours place. No map on the voucher to confirm position. There was a tour centre a little up the road in the Art passage which I mistakenly assummed was the place as there were people waiting for a 10.30 tour. At 10.30 when it opened the operator informed me it was not the right place. By the time I got back to the gallery to check if a temporary sign had been put up there was nothing so if other people were there they would have left. Although I walked past the address given many times in the week I was there I never once saw a tour group. I can only assume the address I was given was wrong
