The tour guide was great. She was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. It was clear she loved her city. If anything, I was about done out with one more fact and story about Prague by the time we wrapped up late in the afternoon at Prague Castle. You know Monty Python's wafer thin mint skit ...
There were only three of us on the tour that day and it made for a very friendly and easy going day.
The river 'cruise' was nice and gave a chance to relax after several hours walking - unfortunately the early afternoon timing was bad for a sunny day as half of the sites were impossible to see given the blinding light. However, I will not complain about sun in November.
this was a brilliant way to see the highlights of Prague from all different views, walking, boating and a tram ride up to the castle. it was also great to have local insight and side stories about the city that you would never find in a book. the group was indeed small which is much easier to not only hear but ask questions and feel like a friend is showing you the city, rather than being on the peripheral edge of a large group catching snips of information. it is a long tour but you feel like you cover a good majority of the city. definitely recommended if you have limited time to explore on your own.
We had a wonderful tour with Teresa. She loves her city and her country, and she is very knowledgeable about the architecture and the history of Prague. This was a great tour for our first day in the city, as we saw the highlights of several different areas and could go back the next day to explore more on our own.
Enjoyed our guided tour of Prague with Theresa. It is a great tour if you have limited time as it covered the highlights and gives you a good overview of the city. Theresa our tour guide was fabulous, easy to understand and she has a great knowledge of Praques architecture and history. Being in a small group made it very personal. Lunch and the boat trip was average.
