Another great trip. A very knowledgeable guide with excellent English speaking skills made for a fantastic outing. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Regards, William
The falls are marvelous, but the waterfall ride is very very exciting, if you do not fear to go at a high speed under the water! It is advisable to have a complete spare set of dresses, because we got completely wet even with the disposable water jacket we bought in plase.
MUST SEE - one of the best experiences of my life. Do this tour above all else you ever do in your life
It was the best experience ever, everything was so good and the water boat ride unforgettable. I really recommend it, if you like nature you will never regret it.
Tour Guide on this day was great and thorough, amazing ride under the falls.
A lot of time mucking around getting on and off bus and waiting for others
really good, worth the day- however we had a tour group that was majority spanish and we missed out on getting full english equivalent.
Don't waste time and money on the "long boat ride" upgrade offered by the guide.
The tour was great because the falls are an amazing place to visit. It was not good however that the entrance fee to the falls was not included although the price of the tour was not cheap. On top it was only possible to pay in cash and in local currency which was a big problem. The cash machine at the entrance did not work and a fellow member of our tour had to help us out to change USD into local currency. If he would not have helped us we might have ended up not visiting the falls at all. To our opinion it would have been necessary to inform us in advance that we have to bring cash in local currency and how much. Besides the "money problem" we had a great day.
If you are staying at the Sheraton, it is not worth doing a tour. It would be just as easy to walk around yourself. The boat tour was incredible though. The jungle jeep was ok at best. The waterfalls themselves are breathtaking.
The morning part of the trip was excellent. We were guided along the hike by our guide. When we were picked up, he tried to "upgrade" everyone's boat ride to include a jeep safari. Everyone but us upgraded. At !2:30 he gave us tickets to the regular boat ride (which was awesome) and sent us off to the pier with directions on how to get there and back. We got lost several times, and had to ask other tour guides for directions. It was stressful! We booked a guided tour to be taken care of. If we had wanted to be on our own, we could have visited the park independently much more cheaply. We did not meet up again until 3:00 for lunch. Luckily, we managed to get to the meeting point (thanks to other tour guides). Lunch at the end of the tour was too late in the day. We were very disappointed at being left on our own on a supposedly "guided tour". If there were going to be two options of boat rides, there should have been two guides, one for each.
Scenery was amazing. Guide was terrible. The guide didn't translate anything into English. Not even vital info regarding meeting points and time.
Unfortunately it isn't a tour. It's a very expensive transport to and from your hotel to the falls, offered as "complimentary". Nothing else is included. You still have to pay for entry to the park, luggage storage and there was no history of the falls etc. Falls were amazing though and worth going.
