What a great day out. It couldn't have been any better. We had a fantastic day and saw the real Dominican. Would go back and do this again.

The tour was excellent, guide and drivers were great. Buffet lunch was provided and then swimming in the river was awesome. Would do it again if I ever go back to Dominican Republic. Would recommend this tour on the Monster Truck very highly. We had a lot of fun.

There is nothing better than getting a real taste of the countryside and city when you go on vacation. It is just a waste of a vacation if you are just going to sit around the resort or hotel and not get around and really find out what your vacation i.e. country has in store for you.

It was awesome. Even though we got rained on a couple times that morning we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was the best guide ever!

Great tour! You really get to know how the Dominicans and Haitians live, plus you also learn plenty about the country.

We had a blast. Our tour guide was brill and so funny. This was a full-day excursion, and we were never bored. We visited schools, which were a real eye-opener; we visited a house and family in the mountains and had coffee with them; and we visited a voodoo doctor and sugar cane fields. The list is endless, as were the rum, beer and soft drinks. This is definitely a must-do.

This was a lot of fun, safe and very informative. Well done and very enjoyable. Probably your only chance as a tourist to see the real Dominican Republic.

A very relaxing day. Our tour guide did a splendid job of informing us of the culture, people and types of crops, etc. I would recommend this tour to anyone. We had no problems booking it or being pick up.

The guide was good, but the shopping was not what I expected, and we didn't get out and walk in the sugar cane fields.

Although they say that a large portion of the costs for this trip goes to support the local school, it doesn't appear that the money actually reaches the school. They sold hats on the truck for 15 each. We didn't have exact change so he said he'd give it to us later. Never did, not only did he keep our 10, he also asked for a tip. For shopping, they took us to a shop that they own and the tour guide also sold the merchandise. The tour was good, enjoyed the sights but I do not approve of the tour operators.
