Simply put, it was great! El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach are just amazing and beautiful. My family and I had a lot of fun. What really made the difference was the tour guide. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He accommodated all our needs and wants and really went above and beyond his duties making the entire trip even more enjoyable.

Pick up times were a little off. Driver was late. But well worth the trip.

It was raining in the rainforest so bring an umbrella. Luquillo beach is nice. At the beach rent beach chairs for 5 each. It cost 1 for a locker, shower and restroom area.

The trip to El Yunque was long, but our driver was a great tour guide and provided many interesting facts about the rain forest and Puerto Rico. We spent about 1 hour walking around the forest at several locations. This was plenty for us, if you want longer you need another tour. We ate at Luquillo Beach and most of the food was dried out. It was a beautiful day on the beach and we enjoyed the whole day. The trip was well worth the price and our tour guide was very helpful, especially guiding us up the rocks to the waterfall to take pictures.

Puerto Rico is beautiful, that alone is worth seeing. The rainforest is a must. Luquillo Beach is a work of nature. The tour is definitely worth doing, when and if you tour guide is enthusiastic enough and not find it to be such a chore.

This particular trip was canceled due to a local holiday, as I found out when I called to confirm the trip a few days in advance. Didn't they know it was going to be a holiday? At any rate, I was invited to transfer to the El Yunque Rainforest Hike for the same price, which I did. The tour was overpriced for 5.5 hours, including a 40 minute wait in the sun while the guide was retrieving the bus and a one-hour stop for lunch at your expense. There is a prominent sign in the bus soliciting a 15 percent tip, which I found crass. The bus was noisy and shaky. The rain forest is what you'd expect, similar to others you may have visited. We did not see any wildlife. The waterfall is pretty but was overcrowded with locals having picnics and barbecues, perhaps because it was a holiday. Bring plenty of water and your own lunch - the place where we stopped for lunch was awful.

The rainforest was a very short trip. I recommend to rent a car and do this trip yourself.

The rainforest has no wildlife, it is not what you expect at all. The beach is OK, but over-hyped - it is not one of the best in the Caribbean.
