Punta Cana airport is chaos. We were picked up in good order and taken directly to our hotel.

I was quoted one price and then sent an email for a higher price which was much more expensive than other people paid for basically the same service.

When we arrived in Punta Cana, nobody seemed to know who Viator was. It took about a half an hour before they finally put us on an old beat up minivan and dropped us off at our resort. Our representative never showed up the next day. Also, since our voucher was taken from us at the airport, we were unable to call them to pick us up on our departure date. I was able to go online and get the phone number for Viator but due to the time difference, we were unable to call before we needed to leave for the airport. I was also unable to reprint the voucher at that point. We had to take a taxi back to the airport which wound up costing us an additional 32.00 even though we had paid for a RT transfer. I booked with Viator because it was cheaper than doing it through the Expedia package I booked but it wound up costing me more money and lots of frustration in the long run.

The trip from the airport to the hotel was fast. However, the day we had to go back to the airport, the driver made a couple of stops and we were a little late. Overall, it was ok.

Finding transport at the airport to go to the hotel was chaotic. When we finally found the booth you check in at, the guy told us to wait in the middle of the crowd and someone would come get us. Meanwhile, the people behind us in line were all getting escorted to their transportation. Luckily, I went up to the booth again and asked what was going on and the guy was like, 'Oh! Lets go this way'. We got the last 2 seats on the bus. Pickup at the hotel was right on time, actually a few minutes early.

Arrival was fine. Departing they sent wrong car for 10 people and we had to wait for new car to show up, other than that it was fine.

Viator representative served me better than the actual drivers.

It was fine arriving. They took me to resort just fine but the return trip was the problem. I talked to the rep twice during week before return and he promised me the bus would be there at 1140am. I waited till 1210pm and no bus and two girls at resort offered me a ride to airport with them. I'm not sure if pickup ever came or not. I did not like the fact that no one ever contacted me about return trip and rep was very ho hum about it. I am returning in October and probably will not use your service.

Return bus from hotel to airport was too small. I clearly booked it for 8 people with luggage.

Everything went great at airport and getting to our hotel. Confusion began with confirming our return trip from hotel to airport. We were told a company representative would be at the hotel every day to confirm. Not so. He was there the 4th day of our 8 days, and we found out that any island tour we made had to be made with his company. He said we would get the transfer info for return to the airport in our room the day before we left. Why can't we get that info right away? By 6 p.m. the day before we left, there was no confirmation. Had to call our rep at our expense, who gave us the pickup time. Written confirmation came about an hour later. Then, we were picked up by a different carrier, who had a tiny little sign in the front window of the bus which we couldn't read. We could have missed this were it not for the hotel's agent. Got to the airport 2 hours before flight, but by the time we got through security, the plane was boarding. Should have been picked up earlier. The departure airport was a zoo on a Sunday, and felt our pickup should have been earlier.

It was hard to find out who the transfer was with when I first got to Punta Cana, but after that, the transfer was nice. The driver who picked me up was 40 minutes late but I still made plane my just in time.

They did not seem to know we needed transportation when we got to the airport, as they didn't have our name on the list.

It was not as easy to find the service when we arrived at the airport. And on the pick up from the hotel they were more than 30 minutes late. We had already boarded another tour operator and almost had to pay another 25 US dollars. But, everything turned out okay as we did in fact make our flight.
