We loved it, but the bus ride was way longer than advertised. It takes almost 2 hours to reach the boat to get to the Island. Despite that the island was beautiful, the rum plentiful, and staff was great.

This is an excursion that everyone should take while visiting the Dominican Republic! It is a long day, but you will never see such beautiful sights anywhere else. We took the speed boat to the island and on the way there stopped at a sand bar where we got out of the boat. The Star Fish were everywhere and the rum and coke was plentiful! We arrived at the island at noon and were told lunch would be at one. The beach was beautiful and the waters were blue and clear. Snorkeling was great, but not really needed because the fish just swam around us as we waded in water about knee deep. Lunch was delicious and the drinks were great! The dancers in the gazebo were very good. The ride back on the catamaran was our favorite part of the excursion. Once on board and at sea, the dancing began and never ended until we were back on shore. Don't miss this excursion. It is well worth the money and you will make friends you will remember the rest of your life!

The catamaran boat trip was smooth sailing. The crew was very attentive. The barbecue lunch was plentiful and delicious. The trip back on the speedboat was fun and the stop at the sandbar was a great experience; we even got to see several starfish! The only downside was that we were only on the island for three hours and we could easily have spent a day. We would also have liked to have spent more time on the sandbar. A snorkel and mask would have been nice to have had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The island is beautiful. The food was really good, and people were really nice. And of course the beach was great.

The island could have offered more things to do and better accommodations.
