Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Half-Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré from Quebec. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
My wife and I joined the Half Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Saint Anne through viator.com. That was an excellent choice. It only costed 58 per person with hotel pick-up and drop-off. The coach bus was air conditioned and clean. The driver/guide had a lot of stories to tell and he shared a few jokes with us. He made 5 stops in 4.5 hours - Chocolaterie, Montmorency Falls, Copper Art Museum, Chef Marie's Bread Oven, Saint Anne de Beaupre. There was no rush at all, lots of time allowed to explore on your own.
Francoise was a wonderful tour guide! On this tour, we were able to see the places we hadn't had time to enjoy on our last trip. Of course the falls and the basilica were the highlights, but the countryside was so beautiful and Francoise was able to bring a very personal aspect to the area.

We all enjoyed the trip. I took nine students with me, and they said that it was one of the better tours they took. They remembered things from the tour and really enjoyed the falls. They wished there had been more time at the falls to walk around.
Gabe was a very informative guide. The tour went smooth and ran on time. I would recommend this trip to others
Great guide. Great variety of places to see. The falls are spectacular, the basilica is inspiring, the bread at Chez Marie's is yummy. Would wish for a little more time at the copper artisan to be able to see everything plus shop. All in all, highly recommended.

we went to Quebec specifically to go to Ste. Anne's Basilica. We decided to take this tour as a way to learn about the area and to get an idea of where we wanted to spend some quality time. The tour was great as was Gab the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area, having grown up there, and was very lively, energetic, and humorous.
As part of the tour, we visited the Albert Gilles Copper Art Museum which is the shop of the cooper smith artist who made the panels for the doors of Ste. Anne's Basilica. This was a short, 20 minute stop, it could easily have been longer. The beautiful copper work done by the crafts people is stunning.
The day after the tour, my wife and I went back to the Basilica and spent over 3 hours there. It is a marvelous shrine and worth the time to examine all of its glories. The panels on the doors could easily take the entire time of the tour stop to examine. They are intricate, beautiful and cover both side of the three entrance doors. The rest of the church is breath taking. The stone work and statues are works of art. The craftsmanship and attention to details are remarkable. The fact that this church was built entirely from donations makes it even more spectacular.
If you are going to visit Quebec, I can earnestly recommend this tour.
It was a very informative and enjoyable trip. We especially liked the shrine. Beautiful!
On turning up for the tour I was told that I would be alone as the other guests booked on it had cancelled. This led to me having a one to one experience. The driver/guide was amusing and very knowledgable. He allowed me to choose my own pace and itinerary and gave much information from his own local knowledge. The trip was fabulous and the sights I saw were unique. I would go on this tour again if ever I am passing that way. Excellent value for money. I cannot recommend highly enough.
The trip was really nice and our guide was trying hard to give a bilingual tour. He gave us sufficient time to explore the Falls, the Shrine as well as other surrounding attractions.
Even though it was cold we had nice and sunny weather, I enjoyed the trip!
Tour was outstanding. Our guide was great. Will definitely do it again when we return to Quebec.
Alan was fabulous, nice person, very knowledgable . Got a good feel for the area . Had a great day
Tour was very good and informative. We learned a lot about the area surrounding Quebec!
We had a wonderful tour. We paid for half day but it felt like it was a full day tour. Our guide was ver knowledgeable, professional and covered a lot of things fo a half day tour.
Probably the best tour I have ever done, the driver / tour guide was excellent, the stops were just right and very intresting. Thouroughly recommended
Our tour bus driver/guide, Jean, was marvelous and made the trip very enjoyable. What a great sense of humor!
This tour was an easy way four of us to get to some of Quebec's best attractions. I loved Montmorency Falls and would have liked more time there. Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre as elegant. The guide was well informed and entertaining. Overall it was a pleasant trip.
This tour was very well worth the cost. The coach diver very knowledgeable, pleasant and excellent driver on tour. We visited many sites and the tour was also a little longer than anticipate. She provided many stops for pictures etc Would highly recommend this tour and company. Some pictures attached while on tour.
Since we were off a cruise ship, the time and arranged pick up was somewhat a concern. We would suggest contacting the provider before docking and request pick up time for transfer to tour starting point. We were picked up at the appropriate place but not advised of time which turned out to be the time from the tour starting location, not hotel.
Francois (?sp) made our bus trip the highlight of our visit to Quebec City!! We enjoyed his humor and insider stories that really brought the area's history to life...LOVED it all! My second VIATOR tour, and will plan to use you again!
Our tour guide was really nice. He had a great sense of humor, gave us great explanations along the way and made sure we had enough time for looking around. Even though it was raining some at Montmorency Falls , we didn´t mind because everything was so interesting.
The only thing I was sorry about was the fact that we arrived at Sainte Anne de Beaupré after the souvenir shop had closed. My daughter in law is named Anne and I was hoping to get her something special yhere.
All in all I would recommend this tour to my friends visiting Quebec.
The tour was the best part of my trip to Quebec City. The views were spectacular and breathtaking. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful experience. Thank you Jean-Pierre!
