Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Half-Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré from Quebec. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Great big bus with air conditioning and very comfortable seats, Guide was extremely knowledgeable-FIrst stop was at I'le Orleans for sandwiches and/or chocolate, trip also included a stop at Montmorency Falls for abt 45 minutes which left enough time to catch the gondola ? to the top of the falls and buy lunch. Next stop at a copper art store with a guided tour, then on to St, Anne de Beaupre for an hour, Would definitely do this trip again
Excellent. it could have been a little bit longer, but there are probably those who feel it was long enough. The guide was very good, knowledgeable, and personable.
This tour is very very good. Tour guide is Fantastic. The places like Montmorency Falls, Chocolate Factory, Copper Museum, Church are very beautiful places and very much worth seeing. Hotel pick up and drop is an added advantage for this trip. My wife and kids enjoyed lot in this tour. It is good to have at least 1 hour at falls rather than 40 mins to enjoy the beauty of Montmorency falls
Vey good tour. Have been on this tour before. Wondering if there are not other points of interest. Tour stops make money on these hand over fist -- see the tourists coming!
All the sites were excellent and the tour guide gave us so much good information--we all loved it
Absolutely amazing. and our tour guide François was terrific! he was very knowledgeable and fun.
Everyone should do this tour you will not be disappointed!!
Much more than I expected. We spent a lot on souvenirs though so we have to be thrift for the rest of the month. Ste Anne de Beaupre is almost a worlds wonder. Maybe someday we go back.
Our tour was much more than we were expecting . We made more stops than described when we booked ,which was a pleasant surprise . Our driver was born and raised locally and gave us first- hand accounts of living in Quebec, he was even able to show us his childhood home. The falls and Basilica were beautiful despite the rain and the copper museum and quick stop at the chocolate shop were a day well spent. We would recommend the tour to anyone looking for an afternoon of sight seeing in Quebec !
This is a great tour with good stops at interesting places Our driver/guide was excellent and gave an interesting and informative commentary
My wife and I joined the Half Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Saint Anne through viator.com. That was an excellent choice. It only costed 58 per person with hotel pick-up and drop-off. The coach bus was air conditioned and clean. The driver/guide had a lot of stories to tell and he shared a few jokes with us. He made 5 stops in 4.5 hours - Chocolaterie, Montmorency Falls, Copper Art Museum, Chef Marie's Bread Oven, Saint Anne de Beaupre. There was no rush at all, lots of time allowed to explore on your own.
Francoise was a wonderful tour guide! On this tour, we were able to see the places we hadn't had time to enjoy on our last trip. Of course the falls and the basilica were the highlights, but the countryside was so beautiful and Francoise was able to bring a very personal aspect to the area.

We all enjoyed the trip. I took nine students with me, and they said that it was one of the better tours they took. They remembered things from the tour and really enjoyed the falls. They wished there had been more time at the falls to walk around.
Gabe was a very informative guide. The tour went smooth and ran on time. I would recommend this trip to others
Great guide. Great variety of places to see. The falls are spectacular, the basilica is inspiring, the bread at Chez Marie's is yummy. Would wish for a little more time at the copper artisan to be able to see everything plus shop. All in all, highly recommended.

we went to Quebec specifically to go to Ste. Anne's Basilica. We decided to take this tour as a way to learn about the area and to get an idea of where we wanted to spend some quality time. The tour was great as was Gab the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area, having grown up there, and was very lively, energetic, and humorous.
As part of the tour, we visited the Albert Gilles Copper Art Museum which is the shop of the cooper smith artist who made the panels for the doors of Ste. Anne's Basilica. This was a short, 20 minute stop, it could easily have been longer. The beautiful copper work done by the crafts people is stunning.
The day after the tour, my wife and I went back to the Basilica and spent over 3 hours there. It is a marvelous shrine and worth the time to examine all of its glories. The panels on the doors could easily take the entire time of the tour stop to examine. They are intricate, beautiful and cover both side of the three entrance doors. The rest of the church is breath taking. The stone work and statues are works of art. The craftsmanship and attention to details are remarkable. The fact that this church was built entirely from donations makes it even more spectacular.
If you are going to visit Quebec, I can earnestly recommend this tour.
It was a very informative and enjoyable trip. We especially liked the shrine. Beautiful!
On turning up for the tour I was told that I would be alone as the other guests booked on it had cancelled. This led to me having a one to one experience. The driver/guide was amusing and very knowledgable. He allowed me to choose my own pace and itinerary and gave much information from his own local knowledge. The trip was fabulous and the sights I saw were unique. I would go on this tour again if ever I am passing that way. Excellent value for money. I cannot recommend highly enough.
The trip was really nice and our guide was trying hard to give a bilingual tour. He gave us sufficient time to explore the Falls, the Shrine as well as other surrounding attractions.
Even though it was cold we had nice and sunny weather, I enjoyed the trip!
Tour was outstanding. Our guide was great. Will definitely do it again when we return to Quebec.
