Good overview, introduction and orientation to the city, particularly helpful if conducted shortly after arriving in Quebec City. Informative.
The tour guide was informative and interesting. We enjoyed his sense of humour and his attention to the people on the tour.
It would be nice to have the top window over the driver's seat and stairs cleaned so tour members could see upwards through that window.
Also, the tour guide managed very well with a difficult situation. His microphone connection wasn't working well and he needed to hold the plug into the console it in a particular way to keep the sound working. He managed this well. Congrats to him.
This was an excellent tour which I thoroughly enjoyed. Our tour guide Jean Pierre, was very knowledgeable and presented all of the information in both French and English. He made everyone feel involved and important. I was there to take photos, and he made sure that my wish was fulfilled. He was quick to point out ways to make my experience more rewarding. Thank you Viator, and a special thanks to Jean Pierre
My mother and I enjoyed the tour very much. The bus driver was so polite and the guide told us the Quebec information with a touch of humor.
Excellent tour. The driver and tour guide explained everything as we moved along the areas; was very courteous and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience.
What a wonderful way to see the city. Of course, our tour guide, Francois, was so wonderful and helpful that it made the tour unforgettable. Francois gave us such interesting stories, places to see and things to look for. Definitely recommend.
My daughter and I took this tour to get our bearings and some history of Quebec before we were going to venture out on our own. It was great. We got great historical information and also great ideas of what we wanted to see while there. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. I suggest this tour highly!
Beautiful City clean, no graffiti and wonderful architecture.
highly recommended. Also nearby Illes d'Orleans. A really beautiful island.
We only had 4 days for a short Summer vacation, and did not know where to go. Looking at a map we decided that going North, to Quebec, would be the right thing for us: not far, cool air, and French ambience. Quebec City was the perfect spot and it was more than we ever expected it to be! Since we live in New Jersey, we took a short, 1 ½ hour flight, and instantly we were transported to a little European world , a little France!
The houses, the history, the culture, the cuisine were delightfully French! Canadian friendly! No need for a car in Quebec City. This wonderland is conveniently compact and everything is just a stroll away.
Our hotel , Saint Pierre Auberge , was centrally located to shops and all places of interest, just two small blocks from the St. Lawrence River and across the street from the Museum of Civilization. The very special thing about this hotel was its intimate size. It was a converted small office building that architecturally combined modern elegance with rustic charm. We opted for a larger room with a queen sized bedroom ; and were delightfully surprised that it came with a dining room, kitchenette, a living room with a sofa and a second TV ! The décor was a tasteful, modern, open- design with brick walls, wooden floors, creature comforts such as bathrobes and slippers and upscale toiletries.
All of the staff was there to make our trip a pleasure: the front desk, the concierge, housekeeping, and the breakfast dining staff. Omelettes, crapes, fresh fruits were made to order each morning and served on fresh linen tablecloths. This breakfast was included in the hotel price.
Since we had just 4 days, we booked 3 tours before arriving. We would suggest that you reserve these in advance of your trip since these can be filled. After arriving and settling into our room we had a delicious lunch at one of the many local restaurants . Then we took a bus tour of Quebec City to get our bearings.
This tour was outstanding!!! Our driver /guide was one of the best we have ever had. We got so much information about Quebec City and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
This was a good way to begin our visit to QC to get an idea of the layout of the city and its sights. Our guide, Gabriel, was wonderful and seemed an expert on local history and lore and clearly enjoyed his work..
This tour was a wonderful way to see the many sites in Quebec and it is a must. Our tour guide/driver was very good and accommodating since it started raining toward the end of the tour and he let us off closer to our cruise ship so we didn't have to walk so far in he rain.
