great views, great food and great service, I highly recommend this trip,
We were so glad that we took this trip. As we were doing a big road trip, it was great to see and experience so many great things associated with a waterside ride along such a vast river as the St Lawrence, without having to drive - other than having to get to the station, which did prove more difficult than we expected ! The staff on the train were superb - not only serving food and drinks, but also stopping to spend time to talk to passengers to add to the enjoyment of the experience - the ambience and food most enjoyable, and the extra touches - such as individual tablets at each table providing information about the places we passed through, and the food and drink menus, mood lighting, tasteful background music - all provided a totally relaxing trip. The stop at Baie-Saint-Paul was plenty long enough to sample the delights of this pretty little town. We would certainly recommend the trip to anyone visiting the area with a day to spare, and, should we be lucky to find ourselves in Quebec again, we would definitely repeat the journey.
Loved it! Very relaxing way to see the St. Lawrence Seaway; food and service on the train was good as well. Had enough time to adequately tour Baie Saint Paul as well.
Loved it! The train is very comfortable with attentive and helpful service, great local food to sample whilst taking in the pretty scenery, a very unique day trip that I can highly recommend. Only criticism is the absence of hotel pick up but it is clear from description this isn't included - bit of a trek to train station though so might be worth looking into for the future.
The tour itself was great. The food was delicious and the scenic ride along the St Lawrence was beautiful. Baie-Saint-Paul is a cute little town, perfect for a day trip.
Our only issue was that on arrival at the train station our makes were not on the list, a hiccup between Viator and the operator.
Really enjoyed the train ride. The train ride was enjoyable and the meals were tasty and the portions were adequate.
Scenery on the way was good. Service on the train average for the cost. Food good. They had made special vegetarian food which was really appreciated. Done it once, would I do it again ? Don't think so.
Service was most excellent. Everyone was well co-ordinated, pleasant and very welcoming.
Breakfast on the way there was excellent.
That is why I was disappointed with lunch on the way back.
I am a vegetarian but that doesn't mean I only eat vegetables. I'm not a fan of pickled food and there were mostly that on my plate. I was disappointed given it was not an inexpensive trip.
