This was a wonderful 2 day tour. We were able to visit the highlights of Cairns plus we spent one day on the Barrier Reef with a helicopter return from the Barrier Reef to Cairns. The helicopter ride allowed us to see a bird's eye view of a larger area of the Barrier Reef. We snorkeled 2 different locations. It was just as beautiful as expected. The tour offered persons without much snorkeling experience the opportunity to have a tour person guide them while holding onto a safety ring. The second day was a trip up to Kuranda - a charming small town in a rain forest, then a visit to an aboriginal cultural center plus a ride over the top of the rainforest. This tour is a perfect 2 day tour when visiting Cairns. It was very well organized and the staff did a great job.
Loved the Great Barrier Reef and the helicopter ride. Great Day!!

I LOVED snorkling the reef. It was amazing seeing all the beautiful corals , colourful fish a couple of giant clams and a white tipped shark. The helicopter ride over the reef was phenomenal. The Kuranda train and gondola ride were good and the rainforest tour and zoo were very interesting.
The best experience! Loved Kuranda Railway then the Skyrail back down. We loved the Rain Forestation with animals and aboriginal dance w/ excellent display of spear-throwing, boomerang and didgeridoo. Great lunch. As for the Great Barrier Reef, it was the greatest snorkeling ever!
Would definitely recommend this package. 2 days was just right and we didn't feel rushed doing the tour. The helicopter trip was fantastic and worth the added extra. The crew on board the Osprey V were excellent and we felt looked after. If you are a fit time snorkneller they do an introductory session with a crew member which was very good and helped show you the highlights of the reef.
This was the best decision I had made. The weather was perfect and every second spent at the great barrier reef was worth it. We had a chance to witness humpback whale, turtles, the whole arrangement was like clock work. Throughly enjoyed it. Anyone who plans a trip to cairns should visit Kuranda scenic railway, cableway and barrier reef. The rainforest trip was refreshing and would go back again.
Kuranda village is beautiful. I went for the Rainforestation tour, (while it was a very nice nature reserve, with fantastic guides and a delicious buffet), you might want to look into what you can do in Kuranda, there are quite a few nature reserves, such as Kuala Garden that you might prefer. I still had an hour to wonder Kuranda, more than enough time if you don't want to go into any of the Gardens.
The Train up was indeed scenic and the Skyrail back was calm and beutiful.
The reef was the best thing I did in Cairns. If I could go back again, I would go on the reef at the beginning of the week and again at the end. Snorkeling above the reef with all the different fish is Majestic, Amazing and Beautiful, and seeing two massive turtles gracefully swim in front of me has become my go to place when work gets a little stressful.
The staff were friendly and the buffet served had good variety. For the love of god take a ginger pill like the staff suggest, such a shame when people get sea sickness, (but funny too).
I did have a helicopter ride booked on the way back, but the weather canceled it. Viator gave me a fair proportionate refund.
Bottom line, if your going to Queensland, you have to do the reef and this package was great value.

From the very beginning this was an awesome experience. Loved the Kuranda train and village particularly the fresh devonshire tea at the quaint railway station. The butterfly farm was beautiful but trying to photograph the elusive Ulysses butterfly nearly sent us crazy! Then we finished with the skyrail- WOW is that fantastic. Baron falls were beautiful
Day 2 The trip to the outer reef was excellent, the snorkelling was fantastic but even better at the second reef. Then came the wonderful trip home on the helicopter. Just a fantastic day.
Overall, these two days were extremely good value and a must for anyone visiting or even for the locals!
I would love to do this all over again!

Неплохой тур, на рифе была маленькая лодка, было тесновато, за то на вертолете было очень здорово.
The tour was excellent. I went diving and had an extensive briefing with knowledgeable and kind dive masters. The boat was clean and organized and the lunch buffet was incredibly good! My only disappointment was that, sadly to say, the reef where we went was pretty dead.
