Situated on the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, Agincourt Reef provides a sheltered anchorage and the perfect spot for you to snorkel, dive, and view the spectacular coral formations from the semi submersible coral viewing vessel. You can also watch the fish feeding from a unique viewing platform and underwater observatory.
Floating like an island in a coral sea, the modern, dual level platforms provide the ultimate in facilities for reef viewing and relaxation in all weather and wind conditions.
The platforms have tables for you to enjoy lunch, undercover seating, fresh water showers and change rooms to allow you to enjoy your day. There is also a water powered lift to allow easy access for all passengers.
Snorkeling is one of the best ways to view the incredible underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef, and there are friendly staff on hand to show you how. On your way out to Agincourt Reef you can view an instructional video on how to snorkel to teach you the right techniques.
If you would like to learn a little more about the Great Barrier Reef whilst snorkeling, you may like to join an optional Snorkeling Expedition with a qualified Marine Biologist.
If you would like to stay dry, then you can explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Semi Submersible. The Semi Submersibles cruise slowly through the colorful coral gardens giving passengers, seated just one meter underwater, the opportunity to experience a snorkelers-eye view of the marine life without getting wet.
The semi-sub experience takes approximately 25 minutes and depart every 15 minutes. They include informed commentary on the marine life observed during the journey and an overview of the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.

Hotel pick ups from selected Port Douglas hotels commence for the transfer by coach to the Marina Mirage in Port Douglas.
9:30am
Complimentary morning tea or coffee on boarding. For your safety, hot drinks are not served once the vessel is underway. Passengers are required to be onboard the vessel 15 minutes before departure.
10:00am
Depart Marina Mirage for the Outer Barrier Reef. A Marine Biologist presentation is shown on the vessel monitors 30 minutes after departure. A snorkeling demonstration follows the Marine Biologist presentation.
11:30am
Arrive Outer Barrier Reef - reef activities commence:
- Enjoy swimming and snorkeling from submerged platform
- Underwater observatory open for coral and fish viewing
- Semi-subs depart every fifteen minutes from the rear of the platform
- Pre-booked guided snorkeling tours, diving and Ocean Walker helmet diving
- Fish feeding conducted at snorkeling platform at advertised times

Lunch (included in the fare) is served. Enjoy a hot and cold tropical buffet, containing fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fruit. There are full bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.

Lunch finishes. Time for more activity or just relax and take in the view.

Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video viewing on board.
4:30pm
Arrive at Marina Mirage, Port Douglas. Transfer back to Port Douglas hotels by air-conditioned coach.

- Minimum age for all diving activities is 11 years, the maximum age is 70 years
- Some medical conditions (e.g. Asthma, heart conditions) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- All introductory dives are subject to a medical questionnaire
- Evidence of dive certification and medical fitness to dive is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
- If only one dive is undertaken then a minimum of 12 hours is recommended before flying
- If more than one dive is conducted in the day, a minimum of 18 hours must pass before flying, however 48 hours is recommended
- Cash for drinks at the bar
- Swimming costume and a beach towel
- Hat, sunscreen and a shirt for sun protection
- Your camera or video camera. Underwater cameras available for purchase
