Upolu Cay is an uninhabited coral cay lying about 18 nautical miles from Cairns, an ideal reef destination for a range of different age groups. The surrounding coral gardens play host to a myriad of marine life. Dugongs are often seen raising their calves throughout the year in the protected waters around the cay.

Set sail aboard a luxury catamaran for Upolu Cay - a small uninhabited sand island on the outer Great Barrier Reef, not far from Michaelmas Cay. View the brilliant coral and sea-life in the glass bottom boat or try a snorkeling.

For those interested in exploring the coral reef by diving on their day out to the Great Barrier Reef - introductory dives for the novice and certified dives for experienced divers are also available.

Important Information on SCUBA Diving:

• All divers must complete a medical questionnaire/declaration on board the vessel prior to diving and their fitness to dive will be assessed by the diving instructor
• A history of asthma, ear and heart conditions and any other medical conditions may preclude a passenger from scuba diving
• The minimum age for the diving is 12 years
