Upolu Cay - Outer Great Barrier Reef Sailing Cruise from Palm Cove

Upolu Cay is an uninhabited coral cay lying about 18 nautical miles from Cairns, an ideal reef destination for a range of different age groups. The surrounding coral gardens play host to a myriad of marine life. Dugongs are often seen raising their calves throughout the year in the protected waters around the cay.

Set sail aboard a luxury catamaran for Upolu Cay - a small uninhabited sand island on the outer Great Barrier Reef, not far from Michaelmas Cay. View the brilliant coral and sea-life in the glass bottom boat or try a snorkeling.

Depart Cairns. Safety brief enroute to the reef, including a snorkeling and scuba diving presentation.

Signup for snorkeling tours, glass bottom boat and scuba diving. Ensure bookings to avoid disappointment.

Distribution and fitting of snorkeling and diving equipment.

Arrive at Oyster Reef. Opportunity to snorkel, swim from the dive platform, or participate in diving.

Buffet luncheon served onboard the vessel.

Depart Oyster Reef for Upolu Cay.

Arrive Upolu Cay. Opportunity to enjoy beach activities, scuba diving, glass bottom boat tours, snorkeling, sunbathing and relaxing.
