Useful Information
Milford Sound Boat Cruise
At Milford Sound, embark on a spectacular Milford Sound Red Boat cruise on the majestic fiord, where you will see the wonders of Mitre Peak, glacier scarred rock walls that rise 1200 meters (3937 feet) vertically from the sea and waterfalls that tumble from hanging valleys and crash into the sound far below.
After your cruise, join your light aircraft for a scenic flight from Milford Sound over the Southern Alps and back to Queenstown (weather permitting). The flight is internationally acclaimed as one of the most magnificent flights in the world, with spectacular views of the World Heritage status Fiordland National Park. Experience panoramic views of fiords, mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes and the lush native rainforests before flying past the Sutherland Falls and over the McKinnon Pass.
Once in the air it takes only a short time to see why this region is so unique and unsurpassed by anything else. Discover the sights of some of New Zealand's untouched country as your light plane soars up high and offers a birds eye view before landing in Queenstown, where you will be transferred to your Queenstown accommodation.

Outstanding! The flight back was so worth it!

We had a great time visiting Milford. Our tour guide was great. The only bad thing was the weather that day caused the flights out of Milford to be canceled, but the boat tour of the sound and the stops that we made on the way to Milford more than made up for this.
