It was fantastic to overlook Queenstown by taking the skyway and dining in the restaurant. The buffet was with variety of foods and staffs are very nice and helpful.

Definitely a must do experience in Queenstown,even just going up in the gondola for the views alone.
The operation of the restaurant is very slick as they must process a lot of diners over an evening.The food was plentiful and fresh with a wide choice.The only minor gripe is that there were not that many waiters and I had to go searching to ask for a wine order
We went for a late booking so it was getting dusk while we ate--a really lovely evening with amazing views.It doesn,t really matter where you sit you can still see the view

The gondola trip itself was great. The photographer missed our photo opportunity as the flash did not function or something, so have no mementonof our trip which is disappointing. Now for the food review...... Not so good. The system that they have whereby you register on arrival and then you are called individually when your buzzer goes off which is a great idea and saves queuing and you can stay seated in the bar until your time to be seated. We had a great view of the skyline at our table which was lovely. The food unfortunately was poor. The menu sounded great but the quality of it was not. The prawns were overcooked and hard. The fish was tasteless. The pasta was soggy and overall everything was disappointing. The desserts were almost non existent by the time we got to have ours (being in a later sitting) they were not replenished. Overall a disappointing meal. The only reason I have given thia tour a 4 is simply for the beautiful views and photos we got.

Beautiful mountain top scenery. We enjoyed watching all the kite gliders cascading down the mountain from overtop the restaurant. The restaurant's buffet was very nice. I was expecting a more formal dining experience but it was very casual and tourist like. I would highly recommend it for the views alone.

the skyline gondola was a novelty for me as i had never been on one before.the restaurant is fairly high up and the view at the top is amazing.the buffet lunch was resonable.you pay for drinks seperatly.the food was ok i am not really a lover of buffet lunches i often find that you eat too much food that is only ok just becuase its there.the restaurant itself is quite large.we were there just before the new year and as all the kids were on hols the lunch time buffet crowd was all families with loads of kids running around.for something a bit more romantic id suggest maybe an evening time dining there.it was still excellent value when you the skyline gondola pass included

Great, lucky we got there early otherwise we would not have known about the taking of a number in order to get a better table , tables should be allocated based on booking.

Really enjoyed to Gondola ride pleny of food and great service from table staff, only one critisism and that was when we gave out voucher to staff before going on Gondola he seemed unable to find out details and even asked if I had paid, as I said to him how would I get a voucher without paying, he was not all that friendly or understanding
