A very long trip, but had a perfect day too see mt cook which was awesome, great views. It would be a long trip if you had poor weather and couldn't see anything. Luck of the draw, cant control the weather.

The trip is a must-do for people who have less time. it is a wonderful way to begin your journey in Queenstown and end in Christchurch and visit lot of places on the way including the wonderful scenery of Mount Cook.

I liked it very much. The service was very good, with an enthusiastic driver! It was worth doing.

We had on-the-dot service with a nice guy to show us around, the bus was too good, and the tour arrangement was excellent.

Absolutely loved the trip, good value for money. Driver skilled and very informed. Scenery spectacular, and service to motel was very much appreciated. Would have liked more information when booking about the bus, the sights, accurate info on pickup points - as it turned out the details on our voucher were incorrect. Eventually I was able to ascertain that we could be picked up next door to our motel. Once we were on the bus all was fantastic.

Long trip, but great views and the possibility of going on a Helicopter flight at Mt Cook, which I took up, was great

Great tour guide, very comfortable and made good use of time. The trip between Mt. Cook and Queenstown is somewhat more interesting than the portion to Christchurch.

You get to see some great landscapes, but where don't you see great landscape in New Zealand. The Day trip from Queenstown to Christchurch itself was just excessive! There are stops about every hour to 45 minutes just for the bus driver to get coffee. I don't know if this is New Zealand law but it dragged what could be done in 8 hours to 12 hours. Be prepared for a long day.

Although you get to stop and take pictures along the side of the road, you don't get to experience that much. The extended break at Mt. Cook is nice, but the overall experience didn't feel absolutely complete. But it is a great way to see a lot on a limited amount of time. I did a more personal tour of Skippers Valley in a 4x4 and found that a lot more rewarding.

The weather was bad and you could not see Mount Cook. I was hoping to take a helicopter flight but all flights were grounded because of the weather.
