We'd previously been on a helicopter over the Franz Josef glacier but this time we thought we'd try one of the Queenstown flights - we opted for the 50min ride. Dave our pilot was very friendly and informative. It was our son's first ride in a helicopter and he got to sit in front with his grandmoth

Had an amazing trip, the weather was perfect for a trip to Milford Sound , scenery was unforgetable.
This is a must do on your trip to Queenstown.
When all other companies were offering 8 mins and 3 mins, your flight was 50 mins and it was extremely good value for money. The pilot was knowledgeable and friendly but the main thing is the flight didnt feel like it was over too quickly. It was a memorable experience. Loved every minute of it.
Absolutely fantastic! Not to be missed. Some turbulences to give you just the right amount of thrill and the landing on the glacier just made the best Xmas present ever. Beware of the repeated cancellations due to Queenstown's changeable weather conditions though.

This is a fantastic way to see the area in a short amount of time. One minute we were in eighty-degree heat, and twenty minutes later we were standing on a glacier with amazing views.
It was an absolutely 5 star experience; but fair to say it was pretty expensive. We were travelling from Australia so the exchange rate worked in our favour. Get your video camera ready for the take off from the glacier.....i have re-watched mine 100 times.
