One of the best tour I ever joined! Love every details of the tour. The old TSS Earnslaw ship was Amazing, still working well. The scenery and the warmth of the farm was so memorable, I want be there again! This is really worth tour to buy. If you're in Queenstown, Please pick this up soon!
We had a fantastic day from the cruise over where the staff were fantastic as was the steamer. Everything was of a very high standard. At the farm we were greeted warmly and our guide/ shepherd who was Peter was lovely. His commentary was funny and informative it did not feel like a mass trip but personal and individual. The afternoon tea was delicious and the sheep dog demonstration and shearing of the sheep was a highlight. The ladies in the shop were a delight and the shop was very reasonably priced. We steamed back to Queenstown a very happy group of Ellen people thank you xxx
Amazing cruise, lovely scenic view and beautiful farm country!
First time on a steamship. Very unique. Cruise across lake to farm took approx 30 mins. Stunning views.
Walter peak farm is a hidden gem surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Farm tour was interesting. Our host is very friendly and welcoming. Loved the sheep shearing and sheep herding demonstration. Getting close and feeding the farm animals was lovely. Morning tea was delicious. Best scones, yum!
Great interest in steamship. Farm tour and tea were very well done. Would recommend it for a gentle alternative to the high adrenalin activities
The tour is awesome and educational . Scones and jam afternoon tea was delicious.
Great tour, great tea and scones. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour there.
What an enjoyable afternoon. Stunning cruise in the lake with all its incredible views. Turned a corner to find the homestead. Cant wait for it to be opened as a B and B. Peter was a fantastic tour guide. Natural setting, tranquil, enjoyable. Lovely touch to have afternoon tea in the homestead.
Really good host, amusing and interesting. I enjoyed the Devonshire tea during the break, which was followed by the shearing.
The boat trip was fantastic and very interesting and the farm tour was informative. We all had a great time.
We were lucky enough to have a fine, sunny day when we recently travelled on the SS Earnslaw to Walter Peak Farm. My husband was fascinated by the steam engine on board the ship and I enjoyed the magnificent scenery along the way. Our Guide was most informative and entertaining when demonstrating both the sheep shearing and dog mustering techniques and our morning tea of scones and date loaf was made all the more enjoyable by the beautiful views from the old farm house verandah. I found Real Joirneys to be a most efficient Tour Company with all the tours we did with them during our stay in Queenstown. It is such a beautiful place to visit we are already planning our next trip.
Real Journeys is the best!
Everything perfect, staffs were so wonderful :)
We will go back and visit them again and again.
This is a wonderful tour, well worth the time and money, I had a fantastic time
Delightful day! Every activity was high class. Informative and well worth the price of the ticket.
Loved the steamship!!! Nice ride over and back. Great time to relax, ride a part of history, and take lot's of pictures. The Farm was great. I grew up on a farm and it was a treat to check one out in NZ. Great guides at the Farm and the afternoon tea was very nice. The sheep dog demonstration was amazing!!! The new litter of puppies were adorable.
It was a very nice tour with the old steamer. The farmer told us about the farm and showed who to cut a sheep. That was very interresting as well as to see his little dog gather sheep.
The afternoon tea was nice. We had a few small showers but most of the day was clear.
We really enjoyed the farm tour. The cruise would have been better if the weather would have been warmer and less wet.
Excellent trip for the family. The steamboat, farm animals, and sheep shearing show was great! Awesome value....

We really enjoyed the trip out to the farm on the Earnslaw. The tour of the farm was pleasant and so was the tea sitting out on the deck with a stunning view of the lake.
A relaxing boat trip, watched sheep shearing, lovely food, hand fed other farm animals, some local history, perfect weather, great for all ages and nationalities.
