Day 1: Quito -- Baños (L)
When your guide picks you up from your Quito hotel, board a comfortable coach for a tour through the 185-mile (300-km) ‘Avenue of the Volcanoes.’ Look up at Ecuador’s highest volcanic peaks, surrounded by picturesque landscapes.
Pass through the town of Pillaro and stop at the Rumiñahui viewpoint to catch spectacular views of Ambato. Admire the panoramic vista (weather conditions allowing) and snap some photos before getting back on board the bus.
In the afternoon, arrive in Baños for lunch, where you’ll enjoy a tour of the frontier town, an entryway to the Amazon. If you choose, take off on an ecological adventure tour (own expense) and explore the lush greenery, hot springs and waterfalls of this enchanted natural landscape.
After dinner (own expense), spend your evening relaxing by the pool or lounging on your own tiled terrace, with views of Baños and the valley below.

Day 2: Baños -- Quito (B)
