The staff was very friendly and the guide was brilliant. The Blue Lagoon is a must. We thought this would be a round trip, but we were brought back to Reykjavik to pick up the afternoon tour. It's a good thing we had food with us, as there was no time to get anything. The Golden Circle is awesome, and the geology information was incredible: 186 tremours a day! I had no idea! It was a long day, but one to remember forever.

The main reason for the low rating is the fact that it rained the whole day. The Blue Lagoon visit was still fun, but it seemed like we spent half the day stopping to pick up or drop off passengers. The audio on the coaches was good, which helped in part to make up for the fact that we dcouldn't see much. We enjoyed Geysir, and we got to see Strokkur blow with regularity. In the end, we'd love to do it all again in better weather, and without so much rushing about.

In the morning we went from Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon without a guide and were just left there for over two hours. If you didn't want to swim then it was much too long a time hanging about. And even those who did swim were out of the pool well before the time was up. We then had to go back to Reykjavik to pick up some more people. I felt the time could have been better managed and a guide would have been nice. The afternoon trip, which was guided, was interesting and informative.
