Great way to see the city. We were initially going to make one loop around, and then choose where to stop but we saw that the weather was changing and opted to go to the top of the church while it was still clear blue skies. Stopped for lunch at the Perlan dome just before the hoards of tour buses arrived. Beautiful views and great photo opportunities. The Harpa Concert Hall and Viking Ship monument were another great stop not to miss. With these stops, you can do make the trip with lunch in about 3-4 hours.
Great way to get a feel for the city, you get to choose where you want to visit and you are able to go back if you choose. Have done this on previous trips to other countries/cities and have always been impressed.
Great way to see the major sites in the city of Reykjavik. I would highly recommend this be done on the first day of a trip so you can decide which places you would like to revisit for an extended period of time. Starting point is The Harpa which I highly recommend seeing. It is truly one of the most gorgeous buildings I have ever seen and home to the Reykjavik Symphonic Orchestra unfortunately they were not performing while we were there.
A great way to see Reykjavik, very simple to use, very informative with the on board recorded narrative and keeps to time which means you can easily work out what time the bus will be at your stop so you don't have to wait for long. Really enjoyed it, thanks.
The bus ran every 30 minutes so we didn't need to wait long to move on to our next stop. A great way to see pertinent sites.

Great tour. 30 min.or 1 hour turnaround was adequate. Being able to pay for in in Aust before we left was appreciated. Visited all the sightseeing spots in Reykjavik.
Bus was waiting on the quay side for us, very friendly crew, easy to use voucher, entertaining and informative commentary, good value, highly recommend.
My friend and I regularly enjoy Hop-on Hop-Off Tours when we travel around the world. This tour was no exception - helpful commentary, friendly staff, and a doable itinerary.
Excellent trip, it was so easy to use, the driver was very friendly and we saw so many interesting sights, Reykjavik is a wonderful city and being able to get on and off near the cruise ship was an added bonus, thanks again for a memorable day, Rod and Chris, Scunthorpe uk
A very interesting route through the city. We were impressed with the 24-hour ticket - it allowed us to travel on the afternoon of our arrival and then again the following morning. The drivers were extremely courteous.
The wife and I agree that this was a very good way to see the interesting thing that are offered. That way you can pick and choose the ones that catch your interest.
This is a must-do in any city you go to simply just to see what it has to offer. Would have gotten 5 stars if it actually ran a little longer than 530p. Also, the drivers don't really go by the 24-hour rule - it's basically whatever day you start is when you end.
Just a little disappointed in that there was less information from the drivers and the buses only came around about once an hour.
This was a good way to see the city and where you should stop and explore.
Gave a good insight what Reykjavik has to offer particularly on a wet day.
Great way to tour the city and get around to the highlights of the beautiful Reykjavik. It is a lovely city and we really enjoyed our stay and all of our adventures during the week.
Staying at the Hilton, the bus came right at the door, it was very convenient. We were able to see the Harpar concert hall, the highest church, the national museum, the top of the hill. The English audio is very good.
We liked hearing about the history and facts presented on the Tour. It gave us a fell of Reykjavik as a whole. Well worth the experience.
