fun! Not hard but had to crawl on hands and knees for 2-3 meters a few times.
It was strenous crawling in the cave but it was awesome. Our guide was fantastic and he gave us coveralls, gloves and hard hats to wear to protect us from the elements. Once in a lifetime experience.

What a day trip from Reykjavik! We were looking for something that would get us closer to the raw nature of Iceland, this tours was perfect. Great guide, the caves were simply amazing. It made our trip.
Great experience, we kind of got a little lost in the cave because the group split and there were only 3 of us in the back, the guide didn't came with us inside, but it was just great!!! WOW!!!

This was great fun - but those who take the tour should be aware there is some scrambling around in narrow passages!
Don't do in Winter
The tour guide was excellent. The trip inside the caves was very hard as we had to walk in crab fashion bending close to the ground and sometimes the only way to navigate the narrow space in the caves was to roll across. Nevertheless it was awe-inspiring as we saw the various formations of rocks and the imprints on rock left by the molten lava as it flowed through. On reflection, I shudder to think what might have happened if an earthquake had occurred whilst we were in the caves! My only advise is, please make it clear on your website that this trip should be taken only by those who are very physically fit and able to contort their bodies to go through the caves.
