We planned a 10 hour layover in Iceland and filled it with this tour. It was very easy to do and the tour operator assisted in making sure we were on time for our flight. We managed to tour the peninsula and also spend an hour at the Blue Lagoon.
The guide was super!
The weather was awful but the trip itself was very worthwhile and enjoyable. I would have no hesitation in recommending it. The guide was outstanding and extremely interesting, quite prepared to talk about matters not related to the trip and even personal matters, which was very interesting and gave us a much better understanding of Iceland, its people, language and culture.
A heavenly experience, definitely the highlight of my trip. Unique to Iceland!
