Our minivan was there to meet us, and the cheerful driver with my name sign, even though the flight had been delayed. We then went direct to the hotel so it was the easiest arrival at Reykjavik.
Great service. The drivers wife arriving husband departure - we very friendly. The vehicle was extremely clean inside and comfortable. Plenty of room for 4 large pieces of luggage.
Everything was perfect.
Our arrival check in was delayed, and our luggage didn't arrive and the reporting took quite a bit of time, but our driver waited for us. We were very appreciative.
It was great to be picked up straight from the airport to the hotel since we arrived so late. But coming back we got the flybus for a fraction of the price and wonder if we could have got that on arrival. Reykjavik airport is voted best in europe and it could have won soley on efficiency. Best organised and fastest airport I have been through. It put Heathrow to shame.
Prompt pick-up and helpful driver. The mini bus was noisy and had loud rattles. For the price, I would have expected a comfortable car for two of us.
Too pricy in my opinion.
We never received our airport transfer!!!! We arrived in Reykjavik at around 7 am and no service desks or phones were available so we couldn't call anyone. Frustrated, we waited about a 1/2 hour then bought a bus ticket and transferred to our hotel that way. If you're considering a private transfer vs. Flybus, just take the bus. The drivers are helpful, and it's far less pricey. Just note that every larger bus leaves out of the bus terminal. The city center streets are very narrow so you will be transferred to a smaller bus from the terminal to your actual hotel. Other than this annoyance upon arrival, great trip; Enjoy Iceland!
