Because of violent storms our ship the Emerald Princess was unable to make this port.

Great!!! The driver was from UK but his knowledge of Iceland and its history was incredible! An excellent way of seeing all the sights before choosing which to visit!
Despite the Cold and rain the tour lived up to our expectations. We were glad of the 24 hour freedom to explore
The bus only ran at hourly intervals, which limited what you could do and stopped to early at 1700.not good enough
Picked up right at the cruise terminal which was ideal for us however there was only one bus per hour on a Sunday so if you missed the pick up you had a long wait however so much cheaper than anything offered through the cruise excursions programme and excellent introduction to the city. A definate must if you have a restricted time to see the city.
Very nice way to get an overview of the city. We were able to get on at the cruise terminal so that was very convenient.
Bus aarived at cruise terminal almost as soon as we disembarked. Voucher system worked perfectly. Great tour around Reykjavik and excellenr commentary on bus. Good value for money.
Reykjavik is so small you really don't need the bus except for orientation.
Disappointed with the running of only one bus and having to waste an hour waiting on a replacement bus when the original one broke down at the port. The replacement bus driver was a better guide/driver than the original one or the one who drove during his lunch break.

Taking this Hop on Hop off bus was not really appropriate for our itinerary the second day in Reykjavik. We had been there overnight so an early departing bus would have afforded more opportunity to see the city sites. The bus left only once an hour so we would not have been able to return to the ship on time if we had gotten off. As it was we did two complete circuits of the tour and got distance photos. The stops were appropriate-having only 4 hours just did not give us enough time .
First afternoon on the bus the driver went back to the depot and didn't even realise we were upstairs. The ticket said 10 am to 6pm but it was unclear if 6pm was the last departure. Second day we hopped off the bus at one drop off point and walked to the museum. After our museum visit the bus drove straight past us at the dedicated stop even though we flagged it and had our tickets in our hands. We were very disappointed and felt that this was not good value for money as we didn't really complete one circuit.
The audio was not that great so we went around twice to try to catch everything. A subsequent tour to the Golden Circle covered everything much better. The city is small enough to explore by foot.
The tour wasn't really a hop on hop off tour as if you didn't make it clear to the driver you wanted to stop he just drove by. Also it was more of a tour of the city rather than get of and see the sights. The sights are mainly around the centre for which you don't need the bus
We arrived in Iceland on June 26 early in the morning, so we booked a Hop-on Hop-off Tour (on-line) to bridge the hours until check-in time. On June 26 the weather was cold and rainy. After reporting at Luna at Baldursgata we waited for over 45 minutes at Hallgrimskirkja for a bus, without any result. So as not to catch pneumonia, we decided to forget about the tour and take the loss of US$63.10. However, on other days we regularly saw Hop-on Hop-off busses, but not on the day we needed the most. We are very disappointed and therefor can not recommend this tour to anyone.
