The tour guide was friendly; knowledgable and had very good English. The only downside was the lack of alternative timings and the duration which could be longer!
This was an interesting tour of Reykjavik and surrounding areas, which proved a good introduction to Iceland. The tour guide was friendly and very informative. From this, we were able to work out the areas which warranted further exploration. Most enjoyable!!
Great value trip, a chance to see all the main highlights of Reykjavik in one morning!
Guide was informative and plenty of opportunities for photos. Great view from the top of the pearl.
If you only have a short amount of time this is a great tour to take! Just wished that we had more time at the church to go up the elevator to the top as the view is supposed to be spectacular on a clear day.
Very good - saw all the main attractions and was able to leave the tour at the Cathedral to explore the main shopping street.
We really enjoyed the Reykjavik city tour! The tour guide was great and gave us a lot of great information. We enjoyed each stop and all of the sights. The guide made the best of the bad weather and made the tour very entertaining. Thank you for a great time and all of the information!!
Perfect to do on your first day. Got to see what I wanted outside the city, and knew where I wanted to go back to. Great tour.
Takes about 2.5 hours and you see not only central Reykjavik but also a couple of adjoining towns which are interesting in their own way. Some great views of the city from the President's residence and the Dome building both high up out of town. Our guide was very informative with her commentary although she was driving the minibus at the same time!
Although cold and a little rainy I give it top ratings. Guide was very excellent.
This was also a rerun of a trip we did 6 years ago. The half day city tour is a good introduction and an easy way in after travelling all the previous day(s). Although we had done this tour before the route this time was quite different and very interesting. It still starts with a visit to Hallgrímskirkja, which is the most amazing place, photo's make it look good but the experience is mind blowing.
It makes for a very good start to any time in Iceland.
The tour guide was prompt, professional, informative and provided a nice snap shot tour of Reykjavik.
This 2.5 hour tour of the key sights in and around Reykjavik was a terrific way to get a quick introduction to the city and the life and culture of Iceland. The guide was knowledgeable, informative and had a wonderful sense of humor. As part of a short four day visit, this tour enhanced our understanding and enjoyment of all the amazing sights and experiences that followed and I would certainly recommend it to any visitor.
Excellent info and overview of an interesting city. Highly recommended.
Excellent, we even got picked up at the main bus depot which was out if the drivers way. Lovely informative tour.
Because there was a large group the tour company added a small mini bus. That was to my advantage, because there were just 12 of us with our driver/guide. It didn't take as long to load and unload, and we were able to travel into some of the smaller streets and view more. It was a great tour of the city with all the highlights.
the bus driver was good and spoke good English with good explanation.
We did this tour first thing on our first day. It was perfect. We had studied up before we went but we saw things we did not hear about and got a real sense of the city and country from our knowledgeable guide. Again we were picked up at our hotel promptly and brought to a larger bus.
